Let's begin this meditation for setting our boundaries and keeping our boundaries and respecting them more for ourselves and others.
We're going to do this visualization,
A beautiful visualization of your boundaries.
Sit in a comfortable position,
Hands on your lap and just keep the spine straight.
Let's do a couple of deep breaths in,
Just a nice deep inhale and a slow,
Gentle,
Easy exhale.
Just letting the breath go,
Not worrying about it.
Just let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go,
Let it go.
And when you reach the bottom,
I want you to breathe in nice and deep again.
A deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep inhale and a slow,
Gentle,
Easy exhale.
Just letting the breath go.
Then you breathe in nice and deep again.
A deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep inhale and a slow,
Gentle,
Easy,
Happy,
Complete exhale.
I want you now to visualize your home and this is a beautiful little cottage,
A lovely red brick cottage with an amazing blue roof or a white roof,
Whatever is your favorite color.
Maybe it's just a white house,
A cute little white cottage and you're standing in front of it.
This is the cottage of yourself.
You have built this with love.
You respect the love you have for yourself.
You love,
Honor and cherish your body,
Your mind,
Your soul.
This is you.
Smile and now you look around you and there is a beautiful garden.
A garden is a space,
Your space.
You own this.
You have set up your space.
You respect your body for instance.
That's your space.
You respect that you need space for yourself to love yourself more,
To give yourself belief,
To give yourself trust in yourself and every day you go stronger in this trust of you.
I trust myself.
No matter what,
I am enough.
No matter what comes my way,
I've got it.
Those are your nice strong boundaries.
Boundaries of space that you've set for yourself,
Your belief in yourself and now let's look at your time boundaries.
I am conscious of my time.
I respect my time and I work towards maintaining my time.
That's the beautiful boundaries of time and space that you have set for yourself.
I'm heard and acknowledged.
I stand tall in my space.
I respect my feelings and emotions.
I stand tall in my space and here you are in this beautiful garden which is your life and you stand tall and proud in your space and you see this beautiful little white fence that surrounds this lovely garden of your life.
Those are the boundaries you've set for others and every little while we walk around those boundaries and as you do that today you notice in a space your boundaries have been broken.
I want you now to think back to a time recently when you felt irritated in a relationship or angered or you felt that your space or time was violated.
Maybe somebody did not respect your body.
Maybe somebody violated your trust.
Maybe somebody did not take responsibility for their life and you felt irritated or angered or fearful.
I want you to just bring that to mind and think of a boundary that could be set to change that.
What boundary can I set so I don't feel that anger?
What boundary can I set so I don't feel that pain?
What boundary can I set so that the other person respects my time and space?
I want you to think about that and put up that beautiful new boundary for yourself.
I will put this boundary in place and I understand and acknowledge the more I set my boundaries for myself I set my boundaries for others.
I want you to breathe that in.
I stand tall in my space proud and I protect both my space and my time.
I love this beautiful garden of life.
I take full responsibility for creating it in the best manner possible at all times.
I live my best.
I love cherish and respect my life.
I love cherish and respect my body.
I love cherish and respect my thoughts and my emotions,
My mind.
I love cherish and respect my soul and I protect these boundaries every day with strength.
An inner strength that is me.
Breathe that in nice and deep for yourself right now.
You are strong.
You feel protected right now.
Your boundaries are in place.
Deep breath in and a slow gentle easy exhale and whenever you're ready rub your hands together.
Place them on your eyes and I want you to open your eyes with a smile because you deserve that smile.
