First of all let's talk about Christmas and the season of Christmas with this little meditation that we are going to do.

Let's breathe in nice and deep sit up straight everybody a nice deep breath in and a slow gentle easy happy complete exhale.

Let's breathe in nice and deep deep deep deep deep deep inhale and a slow gentle easy happy complete exhale.

Gloria in excelsis Deo Gloria in excelsis Deo Gloria in excelsis Deo It's a day that we exalt as Christmas runs in close to us.

It's a day that we exalt and so let's give thanks that all of us are together in this moment and as we go out from this moment let's keep in mind one of the biggest lessons of Christmas to congregate to gather together and so this Christmas let's gather together in love let's gather together in joy let's gather together in all the beauty that is Christmas let's gather together in the warmth of this celebration let's gather family let's gather friends let's reach out and bring folks in our family maybe we've not spoken to them in a very long time let's bring them to the table even if it's a virtual table let's bring them together in in the table let's bring them all together together together to share the beauty of this festivity it's a time to gather together and so let's all of us reach out to family and friends and gather them unto ourselves just to say hello just to wish them a merry Christmas just to wish them a happy holiday just to wish them we reach out I put my hand out I send out a greeting I say hello let's all during this season let's reach out to those around us let's reach out to family let's reach out to friends let's reach out to those we've not spoken to in a long time but mean a lot to us but yet we might not have spoken to them in a long time during this year let's reach out to each and every one of them and on the theme of reaching out let's spread joy my mother always used to say joy is like butter the more you spread it the more delicious life becomes I agree with her joy is like butter the more you spread it the more delicious life becomes so spread joy this season and how do we spread joy by sharing what we have by sharing what we have so as we go out into this world let's share what we have with those who maybe have not as much as us let's share the beauty of Christmas let's share the beauty of this festivity let's share from what we have from our abundance let's give this Christmas and bring smiles to faces and bring happiness to the air let this be a giving Christmas for us let this be a giving Christmas for us let's breathe that in nice and deep right now a sharing Christmas a giving Christmas and finally to reflect on what this Christmas means for us it will be the beginning of a new year and finally to reflect on what this Christmas means for us it will be the beginning of a new year and this Christmas let's become more aware more aware of ourselves so that we can celebrate ourselves better I celebrate my body my mind and my soul I celebrate Christmas I celebrate I celebrate a new beginning next year I celebrate the joyous occasion I celebrate the season I celebrate so you're in the midst of this celebration a lot of times we tend to look at celebrations from outside somebody else is celebrating I'm watching no you are celebrating so let's pledge this Christmas season to have fun to make it fun for ourselves to bring joy to our world to bring happiness to our world to bring love to our world to grow in this season of festivity let's bring joy to ourselves let's bring joy to ourselves breathing that in nice and deep and when you bring joy to yourself you cannot thank the universe for this world that has been so many of us have fallen sick some of us may even have lost folks close to us our friends our family we may have lost somebody it's been a tough year but let's give thanks for all the goodness that has been part of this year and for those who've gone before us let's send them happiness in their onward journey strength in their onward journey that whatever is their soul calling they may understand in wisdom and move towards whatever is their soul calling oh little town of beveler how still we see thee lie above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by yet in thy dark street shineth the everlasting light the hopes and fears of all the years all the years are met in thee tonight and as we travel into a next year we all have hopes and fears and those hopes and fears come together to give us strength all of us as human beings are a beautiful synergy of hope and fear on one side is the hope eternal of a better life tomorrow and on the other side is the fear that couples into this hope because when we hope for something good as human beings we naturally cup it with fear and so this is the season where we pull up the hope and we put down the fear it's a time to pick up the chalice of hope and raise it high and a time to put your fears down and live in joy and live in peace and live in cheer and happiness and health let's breathe that in nice and deep and whenever you're ready rub your hands together place them on your eyes and open your eyes with a smile and when you're ready you can take a deep breath in and out and raise them on your eyes and open your eyes with a smile
