Because when we surrender,

We sleep and rest well.
So I request you to lie down flat on your back,
Feet stretched out in front of you,
Hands by your side and just breathe in nice and deep,

Complete exhale.
Just let it go,
Let go of your breath,
Because that's what we do when we exhale and then you breathe in nice and deep again,

You pull your feet in and towards your face and as you exhale,

Let go of all the tension in your calves,
Your calves that have walked you through life,
Through the last day.
Through the last month,
I let go and relax,
Letting go of all of that stress and all of that tension that's in your body right now.
I'm letting it go and slowly you let your feet loose and easy.
As you feel that tension ebbing out of your body,
Slowly just let it go and know that you're safe and secure and at peace.
And now we take our attention up to our thighs and as you breathe in nice and deep,
Tense the muscles of your thighs,

Let all of the tension in your thighs just drop away.
As you relax your body,

Anxiety that you might have stored in your body right now.
Any kind of tension in your stomach or intestines or kidneys or liver or pancreas,
Any tension that you're storing in the organs of your sexuality,
You let them go right now,

As you breathe in nice and deep again,
You bring in peace and calm and ease into this moment.
Letting go of any stress that you have,
Any tension you might be carrying in the area of your abdomen,

Just relaxing all of the organs in that area,

You will feel that ease and that surrender into the space that you are,
Your bed or your sofa or the floor where you are.
You're just sinking into that area now.

And now I take my attention a little higher into the area of your thorax and to those beautiful yet sensitive organs of your heart and your lungs.
Now let's breathe into your chest,
Puffing it up as far as possible up,

Just letting go of any stress,
Any tension you're carrying in the area of your heart,
Any stress or any pain that you have in your heart,
Any loss of love,
You let it go right now.

Surrendering any fear that you have in this moment.
I am safe and secure and comfortable right now as I relax my body to relax my mind,
To relax my soul.

Now I want you to take your attention a little higher to the area of your shoulders and as you breathe in nice and deep,
I want you to pull your shoulders up,

Up towards your face and as you exhale,
You drop and relax,
Relax and let go of any tension that you're carrying in your shoulders.
Your shoulders carry the heavy load of responsibility.
Just let it go.
In this moment you're not responsible for anybody else or anything else,
Any task,
Any assignment,
Any kind of workload that you have,
Looking after others.
You're not responsible right now.
This is your time for rest,
To relax and restore and so you let go of any stress,
Any tension,
Any anxiety,
Any fear that you might be feeling.
It's just a feeling.

Let it go in this moment as you bring your body down to rest.
You bring your mind down to rest.
You bring your soul into a space of rest.
As we find rest in this moment,

To find peace and so you too relax your body,

Relax your soul into this space and time of rest.
Your body needs this rest to replenish and restore.
Recognize that in this moment you are at peace with yourself.
Your body is at ease and your mind is quiet.

And now I want you to take your attention to your arms,
Your forearms,

Right down to your fingertips and as you breathe in nice and deep,
Just clench your fist tight,
