Sit in a comfy chair,
Close your eyes,
Take a deep breath in and count to five,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Now breathe out and count to five,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Now breathe normally and feel how relaxed your body feels.
Each muscle feels loose and happy.
Imagine that you are standing on a beach.
It's a warm sunny day.
Look up into the blue sky.
It is filled with clouds floating by that look like your favorite things and it makes you giggle.
Take off your shoes now and feel the sand as it slides through your toes and tickles your feet.
Imagine that you can scrunch your toes into the sand.
As you relax in this special place you see an image of a person that you are missing very much.
You sort of see it in the distance.
They are walking towards you and you can see that they're smiling.
You feel a rush of excitement and happiness as they run towards you and pull you into a big hug.
You feel like you're being wrapped in a giant warm loving blanket.
You can feel their energy and it's like they're right here with you.
Their energy is always with you.
So spend some time doing something you love together.
Hugging,
Playing and maybe sharing stories.
You can say whatever you want to say.
You can express your feelings and your love.
Always know that you can feel that they're always with you,
Always loving you.
Now that you understand that their loving energy has never gone away,
Their love is always with you even when you can't see it.
And these happy memories are always available for you.
Go back to that breathing where you count to five.
Breathe it in one two three four five and breathe out three four five and breathe out one two three four five.
