Understanding the Energy of December So we know that the energy of the dhow most closely aligned with the month is Thunder energy.
What does that mean?
Thunder energy represents power and connection.
Thunder energy denotes release and heralds nourishment.
So here is the story that I wrote of Thunder energy.
Thunder is so interesting to me.
It's powerful but it doesn't have any of the destructive qualities of lightning.
Like a trumpeter announcing the coming of the king,
Thunder is a powerful forerunner.
Thunder is a cleansing moment,
It's loud,
Announces that restorative rain is coming.
Thunder on a hot summer's day also reminds us that change happens quickly and it can happen when we least expect it.
Sound of Thunder is said to be God's laughter.
When wild swans rise up to fly together,
The sound of their wings is like Thunder.
Thunder energy is part of your life on those days when you feel powerful but understand how to use this power in a way that is accepting of others.
Thunder energy doesn't force situations,
It reinforces strong,
Safe,
Healthy connections with others.
Thunder energy shows up in your deep desire to leave the world a better place,
Your yearning to be of service.
You are inspiring to others by who you are,
By the way you live your life and you are looked up to as a role model.
And you can see Thunder energy when you are making things happen,
When you are bringing order and structure to situations,
When you are able to see the outcome and the big picture.
In life,
Thunder is loud,
Thunder is sudden,
Yet completely non-judgmental.
It is tolerance that sees both the positives and the negatives in situations,
Not judging but rather seeing what is needed.
And here is the spiritual practice for the month of December.
The first part of it is intention.
So we understand an intention is a goal,
Something to aim for.
Setting an intention gives you direction in life.
An intention is your stated desire to act in a certain way,
To be a certain kind of person.
For the month of December,
Use this intention.
My intention is to live in the energy of Thunder,
To live as a powerful person who brings release and freedom to situations and to others.
The second part of our spiritual practice for December is a breath prayer.
So a breath prayer is a wonderful way to bring you to the moment,
To the now.
And Seth teaches that you can only create your life from this moment.
Life is not created from the past nor from the future.
Finding your way to happiness can only be done from now.
A breath prayer is a quick and efficient way to bring yourself to this moment.
So let's share that experience now.
Find a comfortable sitting position.
Rest your hands in your lap.
Sometimes I like to hold my hands near my heart.
Close your eyes gently and feel your scalp and forehead soften.
And breathe in.
And breathe out.
And state along with me,
I am inspirational.
I am powerful.
I am free.
And I choose to create safe,
Strong connections.
And breathe in.
Breathe out.
And quietly along with me,
I reprogram myself towards the energy of thunder.
I breathe in connection.
I breathe out disconnection.
I breathe in acceptance.
I breathe out forcing.
Continue with lovely,
Soft breathing.
Say a quiet thank you for who you are.
Exactly as you are.
You are enough.
And here is the third part of the spiritual practice to bring thunder energy into your life in the month of December.
It's journaling.
And journaling can take many forms,
Of course writing,
But there's also drawing and scrapbooking any other creative outlet.
It's a way to record your experiences so that you can review them at another time.
Perhaps build on what you've learned.
Often journaling allows for insights that you may not receive if you don't take this creative time to reflect.
And here are the journaling questions to align with thunder energy.
Question one.
Where in your life do you feel your power?
Power that makes things happen,
Brings order and structure,
Creates outcomes.
Question number two.
Thunder energy is being non-judgmental,
Broad-minded,
Seeing all perspectives.
Is this a part of your life?
Question number three.
What healthy connections do you have with others?
Question number four.
How is your thunder energy helping those around you?
How does your desire to be of service and help others show up?
And the fourth and final part of our spiritual practice to align with thunder energy in December is actually taking action.
So there are things that you can do,
Action that you can take to bring thunder energy into your life.
In December,
You could make a choice.
Number one,
To connect with others,
Find ways to be of service.
Number two,
To balance your life by getting rid of all the shoulds for yourself and for others.
I should do this,
You should do that,
They should be this.
And number three,
To find flow and non-resistance by accepting others and building strong foundations for relationships.
And that's how we align with thunder energy in the month of December.
We know that thunder energy represents power and connection.
It also denotes release and heralds nourishment.
So December is a time in which you can bring order to chaos,
A time in which you can make things happen.
You won't force things,
You'll create healthy connections.
It's also an energy of making things happen,
Bringing order,
Bringing structure.
It's no wonder December can be a really chaotic month for us sometimes.
So I hope you've enjoyed the natural energy for the month of December.
And that's sent from me to you with love.
