Hi I'm Dia and welcome to your five minutes to calm.
So wherever you are,
Take a moment to put everything to one side.
Come to find a comfortable position to be in whether you are seated or standing.
Find something that feels right for you.
And then when you're ready,
I invite you to take in a few deep breaths.
So taking in a breath,
Inhaling,
Breathing in and feeling your whole body expand.
And as you exhale,
Softening the muscles of your face,
Your shoulders,
Breathing all the way out.
And then taking another big body breath here,
Breathing in,
Noticing the front of your body expanding,
The crown of your head reaching up towards the sky,
Taking a little pause on fullness and then slowly let that air out,
Releasing the shoulders,
Softening through your whole body.
And then one more big full body breath,
Inhaling,
The whole body expands,
The front of your body,
The sides of your body,
The back of your body and exhale,
Let that go.
Bring softness and relaxation throughout your whole entire being.
Come back to a regular rhythm with your breath.
Allow your mind to just be,
Whether it's jumping from thought to thought,
It's okay.
You're going to just sit here and breathe in and breathe out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
There's nothing else you need to do.
You can bring your attention to whatever is touching the earth,
Whether it's your feet or whether you're sitting on your sit bones,
Connect to the earth.
Let her support you here in this moment as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
Staying here,
There's nowhere else you need to be.
You can relax here,
Allowing the earth to support you,
Allowing your breath to support you.
All is well in this moment as you breathe in and as you breathe out.
And you can linger here as long as you need to,
Just following the rhythm of your breath,
Not worrying about what the mind is doing,
Just breathing.
And take this moment of calm with you.
It belongs to you.
It's a part of you.
Take it with you throughout the rest of your day.
May it be peaceful.
May it be joyful.
May you be loved.
Thank you and namaste.
