Hi,

My name is Diya,

And I'd like to welcome you to this autumn equinox ritual As we approach this next turn of the wheel the fall equinox is a potent time of Transition it is a time where the world prepares for a moment of perfect balance between light and darkness It is a time of reflection a time to give thanks and to harvest the fruits of our endeavors in this meditation We will connect with the spiritual significance of the season and perform a ritual to help you honor this potent transitional time To help you prepare for this ritual You may want to consider setting up a sacred space and bring in items that evoke the essence of fall colorful leaves pumpkins apples or candles in warm hues You may even want to create a special altar to express your gratitude placing on the altar the last remnants of your garden blooms sunflowers roses herbs once you have created a celebratory colorful abundant sacred space I Invite you to take a comfortable seat for your meditation Let's begin by slowing down Connecting with the breath and preparing our inner space to enter into silence I Invite you to take three deep breaths with me So come to a comfortable seated position Your hands may be resting on your lap your spine erect palms open and Let's begin breathing in Filling your whole body with nourishing breath Pausing on fullness and then slowly begin to exhale Emptying out the lungs allowing your belly to contract inward and pause on emptiness and Then begin again big full breath in breathing in Allowing your body to expand your lungs to fill The spine to rise the crown of the head to lift holding on fullness and then slowly softening Softening the shoulders softening down from the front of your body the back of your body exhaling all the way out and One a final breath like this Breathing in finding expansion with your body and with your awareness and As you exhale just drop down deeper deeper within your body beneath your mind Beneath your heart and into your hips down through your legs through the soles of the feet and into the earth Take a moment to imagine that with each inhalation You are drawing in the energy of the crisp Autumn air and with each exhalation You are letting go and releasing any tension in your body Slowly and Gently like the leaves falling off the trees Take a moment now to envision yourself Standing at the threshold between night and day Where the light and darkness meet in perfect equilibrium?

Feel the gentle embrace of this balance knowing that Just as nature finds harmony So can you and now I invite you to take a few moments to reflect on the past few months?

Acknowledging the growth and transformation that you have experienced take a moment to think back at the spring equinox and See if you can remember What were the seeds that you planted in spring?

Take a moment to reflect back where you were at springtime At springtime What were some of your intentions?

What were you?

Desiring to create for yourself in the upcoming summer months What were the seeds that you sowed and that you attended to this summer and in hindsight Ask yourself if those were the best seeds for you to sow for yourself What were some of the circumstances?

That made tending to your intentions a challenge for example Perhaps there was an unexpected illness or some difficulties at work or within your family that prevented you from tending to your intentions and seeds and If that was the case How did you navigate this hardship?

Were you gentle with yourself?

Forgiving Or did you just push through it?

Take a moment to notice the areas in your life this summer that were bountiful Where the harvest was plentiful What can you give?

Thanks for?

How can you thank yourself?

How can you acknowledge yourself for all the times that you return to yourself in?

Commitment to your well-being and if you'd like You can pause this recording take time to journal about it Really reflect back Acknowledging yourself For all the challenges you went through this summer and the ways that you continue to come back to yourself And now I'd like to lead you through this little ritual that will serve as your harvest offering So if you were able to create an altar I invite you to choose something from your altar whether it's an apple or a flower and If you haven't had a chance to do this just imagine that you are holding in your hands an apple or a sunflower Take a moment to take this into both hands and hold it in front of your heart Breathe it in as if you could breathe in the energy of summer Notice how it has grown under the heat of the summer Sun the coolness of the moon the light of the stars Breathe that in and then Raising your hands up towards your forehead towards your third eye the space between your eyebrows and Bowing down in such gratitude For the earth for all the abundance that she gives us that she has given you And then taking your offering bringing it back down to your heart Taking a moment to bow down to yourself and with each breath Infuse yourself with gratitude Visualizing the energy of abundance the energy of balance the energy of harmony Flowing in and around you and then if you wish you may say out loud I Embrace the balance within and around me I Embrace the harmony within and around me and as the leaves fall I line with the cycle of nature and release What no longer serves me?

I'm whole in My imperfection and just as I am in this moment.

I am whole and I am at home and Then take your offering Releasing it back down onto your altar in gratitude for this deep connection to the earth and the cycle of nature and the remembrance of yourself as whole And then when you're ready,

We're slowly going to transition out of this meditation.

So go ahead and And take a deep breath Bring some movement back to your fingers wiggling your wrists your toes Taking another deep breath Opening your eyes gently Reflecting on the imagery of balance and the harvest offering And consider how these symbols can continue to inspire and guide you in the coming months and Then when you're ready,

We'll close this ritual together bringing your hands in prayer position in front of your heart and bowing down again to yourself and Receiving my gratitude as I thank you for being here and participating in this with me Knowing that we are many standing together at this threshold of balance Intending to bring inner harmony and outer harmony we embrace this transformation with an open heart and For this time together We say thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you and so it is and So it shall be namaste
