Today's Consideration: Let God Fight For You

Today's Considerations are short observations about who God is and who we are in God. These observations are meant to weaken, hopefully, our conscious (and unconscious) habits that separate us from God and bring to awareness our characteristics that keep us in alignment with God.

Today's consideration. One of the hardest things to do is to be still when faced with injustice. It is hard to let God deal with the situation and align our reactions only according to His direction. Even when the anger is justified and the injustice is life-altering, We cannot take over God's position. When we step ahead of God to right a wrong, We create space for more suffering within ourselves. In the midst of our hatred and anger, It seems like a fine price to pay, But we run the risk of suffering a lifetime for an act that only brought momentary satisfaction. Though God loves us and weeps for us, He cannot keep us from the consequences we choose to heap onto ourselves. And though there is always opportunity to make things right, We lose time and opportunity in retracing and re-gracing when we could have been further along. Our vengeance will never be more wrathful than God's. Let God, In His infinite wisdom, Fight the battle. Thank you.
