Welcome to In The Flow.
Thanks for joining me today.
And in this crazy times,
I'll tell you,
We need each other,
Right?
That's what we need.
We need each other.
So in these irregular,
Crazy,
Weird times,
Right?
We are all struggling for balance,
Right?
For balance.
Some struggle with their minds.
Some struggle with their bodies.
And some struggle with their spirit.
And then there's those of us that struggle with all three,
Right?
It's about,
And we're just wrestling with the balance.
How can we gain balance and consistency during these like incredibly uncertain times?
And I know those words are used a lot.
And I actually hesitate to use that word because these uncertain times,
And we hear that all over the place.
But the reality is,
It is.
It's unbalanced.
You know,
We're used to our lives the way that they were,
And we had it figured out.
And now everything's different.
So getting back to that balance is so important,
Right?
You know,
Honestly,
Okay,
So I know that I preach a lot about meditation.
But here's the thing.
Meditation is one way to alter and get right with your mind.
That's so,
And that's such an important thing,
Right?
You know,
And just allowing yourself 20 minutes a day,
If that's all you have.
Twenty minutes a day can give you that sort of rejuvenated feeling.
And then secondly,
In working with our challenge right now of an act of kindness every day,
That helps you get right with your spirit.
Right?
That will help you get right with your spirit because that doing something kind for someone else.
And like I always said,
It doesn't have to be like a big grand gesture.
You don't have to give somebody a car or anything like that.
It's just about the act of giving.
The act of doing something nice for someone else.
That's our spirit.
That is our spirit,
Right?
And then of course there's balancing your body,
You know.
You know,
Working out.
I know a lot of people that like are finding this time to be really awesome.
Like they're working out all the time.
And then I know other people that are like,
I haven't worked out in a long time.
It's just,
It's too much.
You know,
If you can't work out,
So maybe try some yoga at home.
Or if that's too much for your body,
Like it is me right now,
Just taking a simple walk in nature.
That can be all the difference in the world.
And that can change your attitude.
And I don't necessarily mean your attitude like you have a bad attitude.
I'm talking about changing your manner of being.
That's what all of this can do for us.
So are we ready to get our meditation on?
That would be a really good t-shirt.
Get your meditation on.
So okay.
Let's get ourselves comfortable.
Whenever you feel comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Let's take a nice deep breath in through our nose,
Not our mouth,
Breathe in.
Absorbing all that beautiful oxygen and let it out.
Perfect.
Very good.
That felt so good.
We're going to do it again.

So our mantra for today.
I want to ask you a question first.
Before we get into our mantra,
What are a few things?
What are three things that you are grateful for today?
We haven't done that in a while.
What are three things that you are absolutely grateful for?
I am so grateful for this time with my daughter and I'm trying so hard to use it.
Very profoundly because she's of the age where she's going to move out soon and we're never going to get this quality time back.
So I am so grateful for that.
I'm also grateful I get to go see my grandmother today.
She's going to be 99 years old tomorrow.
What are you grateful for?
It could be you're grateful for coffee.
It could be that you're grateful for a new pair of shoes that you just got in the mail.
Or you could be grateful for the connections that you're having with friends.
That helps us create the balance.
Appreciating and acknowledging and being grateful for all the things in our lives that really are decent and good.
Okay,
So now our mantra.
Our mantra for today is an affirmation.
What we're going to do is we're going to repeat this over and over.
And the mantra is all aspects of my life are in perfect alignment.
All aspects of my life are in perfect alignment.
If you find yourself straying from the mantra,
That's absolutely okay.
You can always focus on your breathing or focus on a color.
That's what's so beautiful about meditation.
There's no right and no wrong.
Just that you sit and do it.
