Hello.
Welcome to this bij mantra chanting practice.
A bija is a seed in Sanskrit,
And each chakra or energy center has its own bij sound.
This practice today will help you fine-tune your energy centers,
Get yourself into alignment,
And have you vibrating high.
I am sitting in a cloud forest right now atop West Maui Mountains,
So you might be hearing some rain,
You might be hearing some breeze in the trees,
You might be hearing some birds,
Allowing all of this practice to help ground you and bring you into the present moment.
Think of these B-ish mantra sounds.
As fine-tuning your central spinal column,
Just like you would tune a guitar before you play.
Fine-tune your energy before you step out into the world,
Before you do your work,
Before you have an important conversation,
Or really just at any time you are ready to get yourself into greater alignment.
We're going to begin with three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
So let's begin,
Inhale through the nose.
Take a deep exhale out the mouth and let something go.
Again,
Inhale.
Maybe holding it at the top.
Exhale out the mouth,
Let something go.
And one more time,
Inhale through the nose,
Perhaps holding the breath at the top.
Letting it go out the mouth when you're ready,
Relieving yourself,
Creating space.
And let's tune in to the Bhij mantras with three rounds of humming.
This is going to help begin that fine-tuning process and also stimulate the vagus nerve.
Rest,
Digest,
Restore.
Inhale.
And just noticing what arises as that vibration drops out.
Already feeling the opening.
Each chakra has a seed or bija sound.
And we always begin with the root.
The root is red.
And it's grounding.
The sound is lam.
The sacral chakra is orange.
It's fluidity,
It's water.
It helps you surrender and open.
The sound is vom.
The solar plexus chakra is yellow or gold.
It helps us empower who we are and how we show up in the world.
The sound is ROM.
The Heart Chakra.
Is emerald green color,
Like the color of a forest.
This chakra connects us with love,
Acceptance,
And gratitude.
The sound of the heart chakra is yam,
Like yum.
The next chakra,
Five,
Is the throat chakra.
This chakra is turquoise,
And it connects you with your truth,
Your expression,
How you show up in the world,
What you create.
The sound is hum.
Moving up to the third eye,
The space in between the eyebrows.
This chakra is indigo.
And connects us with our intuition.
Higher wisdom.
Our inner guru.
Aum.
The final chakra,
The crown chakra.
Is the color violet.
And it opens us up.
To all things,
To divinity,
To enlightenment,
To pure peace.
The sound is A-U-M-OM.
It's a little bit longer than the third eye chakra OM.
So we're going to go through each one of these sounds seven times,
Tuning in.
Fine-tuning each energy center and bringing all of them into balance and harmony.
See if you can do each one on one big breath.
Beginning with a cleansing breath,
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Mouth.
Big inhale.
LAM VAM RAM YAM HAM OM HO LAM VAM RAM YAM HAM OM HUNG LAM VAM RAM YAM HAM HUNG HO LAM LAM RAM YAM HAM HO HO LAM BAM RAM YAM HA MO MO LAM BAM RAM YAM HAM OM Last one.
LAM BAM RAM YAM HAM OM OM sitting in the silence for a moment.
Allowing your energy centers to calibrate.
To their seed sounds.
Envisioning red at the root grounding,
Orange in the sacral bowl,
Fluidity.
Gold.
At the solar plexus.
Empowerment.
Green at the heart.
Love.
Turquoise at the throat.
Indigo at the third eye.
Intuition.
And violet white light at the crown.
Oneness.
Sitting in the peace.
Sitting in the alignment.
And taking your time here.
To set an intention.
Maybe there is one chakra that's speaking to you today.
Maybe you sit for a moment and chant.
That Bija sound.
A little bit longer.
Tuning in.
Giving some extra attention.
Energy flows where attention goes.
Allowing that attention to power you with life force today.
Thank you for practicing with me.
I look forward.
To sitting with you again.
And connecting.
With your intentions.
With higher vibrations.
And with peace.
Namaste.
