There is nothing more grounding.
Than sitting in a forest.
And the sweet spring rain.
Hopefully you can hear that sweet spring rain in the background.
Let's take the next few minutes to get grounded.
It's so simple.
Beginning with a big inhale through your nose.
As you exhale,
Let it out your mouth.
You're going to do that two more times and imagine that you're letting something go.
Maybe something's been on your mind.
Maybe there's something from the past that you're having trouble releasing or something from the future that you're anticipating.
Let's get present in the here and now.
Again,
Inhale through your nose.
When you exhale,
You're letting whatever that is go.
Maybe it's an emotion,
Maybe it's a conversation,
Maybe it's something that you're worried about.
One more time,
Inhale through the nose.
And when you exhale,
Let it go.
Just let it go.
It's a choice.
And so it's a choice right now.
To get grounded.
To be in your body.
In this moment.
Choosing how you want to feel.
And we always first start.
With the feet on the ground.
Whether you are standing,
Whether you are seated.
Whether you are laying down and you feel your ankles touching the earth,
Whatever it is,
Just get the feet on the earth.
And feel that connection of your feet.
With Mother Earth.
Maybe you even imagine roots beginning to grow from the bottoms of your feet or the back of your ankles down into the earth.
Perhaps you begin to imagine that you are a tree.
Or that you are laying with your back up against a tree.
Connecting with a tree.
Or that you're standing in a forest.
Use your imagination.
Travel there.
And now listen.
What can you hear?
Allow the sense of sound to bring you into the now.
By just simply listening.
Noticing.
All of the different sounds that you hear.
And without attaching to them.
It's an observation.
Perhaps you hear voices.
Or cars going by,
Or birds.
Or the hum of electronics.
Whatever it may be.
Just simply listen.
And breathe.
As you tune into your breath.
Imagine that the breath is coming straight into the heart as you inhale.
And straight out of the heart as you exhale.
Breathing into the heart.
Breathing out of the heart.
Bringing the breath right into the center of you.
Into the center of now.
Letting your heart guide you.
Into this moment.
Holding you in this moment.
Taking your time with it.
I'll be quiet while you listen to the rain in the background.
And taking one more big breath in through the heart.
Out through the heart,
Let it go.
Now saying to yourself inside or out loud.
I am grounded.
I am rooted.
I am centered.
I am clear.
I am here.
I am grounded.
I am centered.
I am rooted.
I am clear.
I am here.
And there you are.
You are grounded and clear in the present moment.
Wishing you a beautiful day or a beautiful evening wherever you are in your 24 hours.
And I hope to meditate and breathe with you soon.
Namaste.
