Good morning.
Welcome to your meditation.
Sometimes we just need to begin.
Something is holding us back.
From just doing it.
And today,
This meditation is a reminder to just start somewhere.
Begin with an inhale through your nose.
And when you exhale,
Let go of doubt.
Let it out the mouth,
Take a big sigh and just clear out.
Take a few deep breaths like that.
And as you inhale,
You're clearing the channels.
You're opening up.
As you exhale.
You're letting go of something.
Letting go of doubt,
Of fear,
Of hesitation,
Whatever it may be.
One more inhale through the nose.
A sigh out the mouth,
And then you'll hold it at the end.
Just hold for a moment once all the air is pushed out.
Push,
Push,
Push.
And then pull up on your pelvic floor.
Hold all your energy in just for a moment.
Clear the channels.
Very good.
Now just simply sit.
Feel the gravity of your body,
Wherever you're sitting or laying down.
Maybe you're standing.
Feel the gravitational pull towards the earth.
And feel that very same opposite pull.
Towards the light,
Towards the sun,
Towards the sky.
Feeling that your body today is the bridge.
Between the earth and the sun.
The density,
That which holds you.
That which you are rooting down into.
And simultaneously that what lifts you.
That which helps you grow,
Just like a tree,
Just like a plant.
Gravitational.
And simultaneously growing towards the light.
Sitting here for a moment.
Observing your breath.
The gentle inhalation.
All the way up.
From the root to the crown.
And all the way back down from the crown to the root.
Simple,
Just like the ocean waves in and out.
Imagine that this breath today is clearing.
So that you have a blank canvas to paint your day.
We're not painting yet.
We're just clearing.
We're getting to the place where there is just a blank.
Canvas.
In this canvas,
You will have words and thoughts and impressions.
Sensory information.
Will want to flood in.
And instead of pushing it away,
Can you just watch it?
What once.
.
.
To paint itself today.
Are you choosing?
The colors.
Are you choosing the symbols?
Or is this just a program?
Running in the background.
Maybe these are expectations,
Attachments,
Stories.
Can we look at them?
And separate ourselves.
From the identification.
With them.
Just let them be.
For the next minute,
We will sit.
In silence.
Just letting the chimes sing.
Clearing out.
Clear the mind.
Relax the body.
And let yourself become.
A blank canvas.
For this beautiful day.
I'm now imagining.
This blank canvas.
That is your mind.
That is your energy.
That is what you want to create today.
Now that you've cleared the noise.
You've relaxed the body.
And you've come to a sense of where your center is,
You get to create the day.
You choose.
Remember that you are the painter today.
You have a blank canvas.
So sitting for a moment and creating an intention.
In yoga we call this sankalpa.
It's a practice that we do every day.
Before we go out into the day,
Before we let the world influence us,
We connect with the energy that we choose,
That we wish to create.
For our day,
How we want to show up.
So maybe your Sankalpa statement is.
.
.
Today,
I choose to show up as,
And you fill in the blanks.
Or it's an I am statement.
I enjoy.
I am open to possibilities.
I am in flow.
I am love.
Allow it to resonate from the depth of you.
Allow it to be true for you.
And remember,
When you doubt today,
When you forget today,
Who you are.
You are the painter.
You have a blank canvas and you have an I am statement or a Sankalpa.
Sankalpa means resolve.
You're resolving no matter what happens today.
To show up in a certain way.
This is how you become the designer of your life.
The co-creator of your reality.
Take another deep breath.
Sigh out the mouth,
And once again,
Empty,
Empty,
Empty everything out,
Pulling up the pelvic floor.
Bringing your palms to heart center,
Bowing the head slightly to the chest.
And sealing that sankalpa,
Sealing your intention.
In between the palms.
Into your heart.
Connecting it all the way up into your third eye,
Into your mind's eye.
See ya.
Feel it.
Be it today.
Happy creating!
Have a beautiful day.
Namaste.
