Hello and welcome to this meditation.
Yoga Nidra for menopause,
Embracing the wise woman within.
I would like to invite you to find a comfortable position where your body can fully relax.
Allow yourself to settle.
Adjust anything you need so your body feels completely supported.
And when you feel ready.
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in.
And a long gentle breath out and again.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
Allow your body to soften.
Allow your mind to become quiet.
Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
There's nowhere you need to be.
There's nothing you need to prove.
And nothing you need to achieve.
For these moments,
Simply rest.
Bring to mind.
A gentle intention.
It could perhaps be.
I honour the wisdom within me.
Or maybe I trust the woman I have become.
And otherwise,
Maybe,
I welcome this new season of life.
Repeat your intention silently three times.
Bring awareness to your right hand thumb.
Your index finger.
Your middle finger.
Your ring finger.
Your little finger.
The palm of your hand.
The back of your hand.
Your wrist.
Your forearm.
Your elbow.
Your upper arm.
Your shoulder.
The right side of your body.
Your hip.
Your sign.
Your knee.
Your cough.
Your ankle.
Your foot.
Your big toe.
Your second toe.
Your third toe.
Your fourth toe.
And you're a little tau.
And now we move to the left side.
Your thumb.
Your index finger Your middle finger.
Your ring finger.
And your little finger.
The palm of your hand.
The back of your hand.
Your wrist?
Your forearm.
Your elbow.
Your upper arm.
And your shoulder.
Your left waist your hip.
You're fine.
Good meme.
Your cough.
Your ankle.
Your foot Your big toe.
Your second toe.
Your third toe.
Your fourth toe.
And now bring your awareness to the back of your body.
The front of your body.
Your whole body together.
Your whole body resting.
And now bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice its natural rhythm.
The gentle rise.
The gentle fall.
No effort.
No striving.
Simply breathing.
With every breath in,
Invite openness.
With every breath out,
Invite ease.
Breathing in wisdom.
Breathing out resistance.
Breathing in trust.
I'm breathing out fear.
Imagine yourself standing on a beautiful path.
The path stretches both behind you.
And ahead of you.
You pause and look behind.
You see the journey you have traveled.
The young woman you once were.
The dreams.
The hopes.
The challenges.
The lessons.
The joys The heart breaks.
And the victories.
Countless experiences that have shaped your life.
Take a moment to honour all that you have lived through.
Everything that you have learned.
Everything that you have survived.
And everything.
That you have become.
And now look ahead.
The path continues.
Open.
Welcoming.
Full of possibilities.
You realize that this season is not an ending.
It is another beginning.
A new chapter.
A new invitation.
As you continue walking,
You arrive in a beautiful clearing.
The air is peaceful.
The sun is soft.
Wildflowers grow around you.
In the center of the clearing sits a circle of wise women.
Women of all ages.
Women who have lived fully.
Women who have loved.
Women who have lost.
Women who have learned.
Women who have grown.
Women who carry the wisdom of experience.
They welcome you warmly.
Without judgment.
Without expectation.
You realize that you belong here.
You have earned your place among them.
Not through perfection.
Not through achievement.
But through living.
Through learning.
Through becoming.
One of the women steps forward.
She carries a small lantern.
Its light is warm and golden.
She places it gently into your hands.
You understand that this light represents your own wisdom.
The wisdom that you have gathered throughout your life.
The wisdom that now belongs to you.
Hold the lantern in your hands.
Notice its warm glow.
This light contains every lesson that you have learned.
Every challenge that you have overcome.
Every act of courage.
Every moment of compassion.
Every truth you have discovered.
Notice that nothing has been wasted.
Every experience has contributed to your wisdom even the difficult ones.
Especially the difficult ones.
The lantern grows brighter.
Its golden light fills your heart.
Your chest.
Your abdomen.
Your shoulders.
Your arms.
Your hands.
Your hips.
Your legs.
Your feet.
Your entire body.
You are illuminated from within.
Study.
Strong.
And wise.
Allow yourself to rest in this understanding.
There is no need to cling to who you once were.
There is no need to fear who you are becoming.
The season carries its own gifts.
Clarity.
Freedom.
Wisdom.
Authenticity.
A deeper connection with yourself.
You are not losing yourself.
You are discovering yourself in a new way.
Feel gratitude for the woman you have been.
Feel gratitude for the woman you are.
Feel gratitude for the woman you are becoming.
Now rest in the warmth of your inner wisdom.
Rest in your experience.
Rest in your strength.
And rest in your inner knowing.
Allow yourself to simply be.
Whole.
Complete.
Enough.
Return now to your intention.
Repeat it silently three times.
Allow it to settle deeply within your heart.
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice the room around you.
Notice the support beneath you.
Begin to gently move your fingers.
And wiggle your toes.
Perhaps stretch if it feels comfortable.
Take your time.
Carry this sense of wisdom and self-trust with you.
And when you feel ready.
You can gently open your eyes.
Your practice is complete.
