Settle yourself in to a relaxed position,
Seated,
Lying down,
Standing,
Whatever feels right for you and your body in this moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
In,
Again,
And out.
On the next breath in,
Close your eyes.
And out.
Imagine a peaceful place.
This can be a beach,
A forest,
A lake,
A river.
Any place you find calm and serene.
Find yourself in that place and come back to the breath.
In again.
Hold at the top and out.
Breathe in,
Hold,
And out.
Wherever you found yourself in that special,
Serene place.
Visualize a warm,
Golden light flowing in to your body.
Breathe it in,
Hold,
And out.
This light is the embodiment of love and kindness.
Breathe it in,
Hold,
And out.
If you'd like,
You can put your hand on your heart.
Breathe in the light,
Breathe it out for others,
For the trees,
For the plants in your serene place.
Allow yourself to fully immerse yourself into this peaceful state of mind.
Imagine being surrounded by this light.
You are breathing in and breathing out for others to share.
You are sharing love and kindness.
Breathe in and out.
Breathe the golden light in and out.
Take three more breaths.
Breathe in and out.
Take another deep breath,
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Remember,
You can take this peaceful state with you as you go about your day.
Whenever you feel stress or negativity creeping in,
Take a few deep breaths and imagine yourself surrounded by the golden light once again.
