
Morning Meditation To Activate Joy And Positivity In Your Body
This meditation begins with a simple movement exercise that will allow you to let go of any energy that is no longer serving you. Then there is a short breathing exercise that will allow you to get closer to your inner world. We will help activate and awaken your body through your ability to feel. This guided meditation will help you easily turn your body into a magnet that can bring more joy, love and power into your life. It pairs well with 15 minutes of (post-meditation) journaling.

Good morning and welcome to the artist's morning.
Today's meditation will be a body activation meditation.
We will begin with a simple exercise that will allow you to quickly cleanse any stagnant energy,
Any energy that maybe is residing on your body that no longer serves you.
Then we will do a very simple breathing exercise called box breathing that will allow you to reset your nervous system and have a deeper connection with your inner world.
And then we'll meditate.
A lovely joyful meditation that will connect you at a deeper more intimate level with your body.
With that,
Before you close your eyes,
We're gonna do this exercise.
It's very simple.
I want you to imagine there's maybe some residue,
Some dirt on your body,
Some energetic dirt.
And before we go inwards,
You're gonna just brush yourself off.
Literally imagine there's some dust on your body from the top of your head down to your toes.
Take a moment just to brush yourself off lovingly,
Gently making contact with your entire body.
I'll give you a moment to do that now.
Brushing your head.
Literally with your hands you're actually gonna do the exercise just brushing.
I'll do it with you.
Brushing,
Brushing,
Brushing your arms and just shooing it off at the tail end of the motion.
Just letting it fall onto the ground.
Brushing your chest,
Brushing your throat.
If there's any parts you missed,
Go back now remembering to feel what it's like for your hands to make contact with your body.
Maybe you really like it.
Maybe it's neutral.
It doesn't really matter.
Go through your entire body now working your way down your legs.
Don't forget your buttocks.
Brushing,
Brushing,
Remembering at the tail end of the brushing motion just to let it fall onto the ground.
Whatever that stagnant energy is,
Allowing it to just fall off you with ease and comfort.
Getting your toes.
Awesome.
We've created a little bit of space within your body,
Within your mind.
And what we're gonna do now is we're gonna do a simple breathing exercise.
It's called box breathing.
And how it works is imagine you made a box on a piece of paper.
It's got four sides.
It's very simple.
You're gonna inhale for four seconds.
That's the top of the box.
Then you're gonna hold your breath for four seconds.
That's the right side of the box.
Then you're gonna exhale for four seconds.
That's the bottom of the box.
And then you're gonna hold your breath again for four seconds.
And then the box comes back to the top.
We're gonna do this now together three times.
Breathing in for four seconds.
Hold for four seconds.
Exhale for four seconds.
Hold for four seconds.
You're gonna do this again two more times on your own.
Hold for four seconds.
Exhale for four seconds.
Hold once again.
And then our last time together here.
Inhale for four seconds.
Hold for four seconds.
Exhale for four seconds.
And now you're gonna hold your breath for as long as you can.
Perhaps 10,
12,
15 seconds just holding,
Feeling your power,
Feeling your body.
Holding.
Holding.
Sitting in an upright position holding that breath as long as you can and if you need to let it go it's okay.
And when you're ready just let it all go.
And allowing yourself to find your own breath this morning.
Taking a few deep breaths.
Staying calm.
Noticing maybe the quality of your attention is different here now after those two exercises and if it's not that's okay too.
Usually these exercises will give us a deeper quality of connection with ourselves.
Continuing to take a couple of deep breaths.
And if your eyes are open I invite you to close them now.
As we begin to go inwards together this morning.
Sitting in a upright position but also a position with comfort,
With ease.
Getting familiarized with your breath again.
Your natural breath.
Your easy breath.
Bringing life energy.
Bringing breath oxygen into your body.
Just feeling what's alive in your body.
Maybe it's quiet.
Maybe there's some tension.
Maybe there's something louder and bigger happening.
Just stay curious.
Through this meditation I will share some mantras and I'll invite you if it feels right to repeat them to yourself.
And the point here dear artist is not just to regurgitate what I'm saying but actually to feel.
To see if there's a deeper level of felt experience in your body that you can activate this morning.
Taking a nice deep breath now and just letting it go.
Feeling your feet beneath you.
Feeling the points in which your feet or maybe your bottom is making contact with whatever's beneath you.
Feeling the support available to you now.
Repeating the mantra I am supported always.
I am supported always.
Feeling the fullness of the word supported and always.
Activating your feet.
You're grounding now.
Repeating the mantra.
Joy lives in every cell in my body.
Joy lives in every cell of my body.
Allowing the felt sense of joy through your body to activate now.
Taking a deep breath using your breath to move the sense of joy through your entire body.
Repeating the mantra.
Creativity adores me.
Creativity and creation adores me.
Feeling the words creativity and adore.
Feel them in your hands in these incredible tools we have to express ourselves.
Feel that sense of adoration in your hands now.
Activating now.
Repeating the mantra.
My voice matters.
My voice matters.
Feeling the power of the words my voice and the power of the word matters.
Activating and awakening your voice now.
I am a magnet to love.
I am a magnet to love.
Smiling as you say the word love.
Softening any part of your forehead,
Your jaw that is overthinking,
That is intellectualizing,
That is not what this is.
We are feeling,
Remembering that as we activate our body we are transmitting a vibration out into the universe and that vibration is drawing that same frequency back to us.
Feeling,
Feeling,
Feeling now.
I am a magnet to love.

Money finds me with ease.
Money finds me with ease.
Feeling,
Feeling in your your jaw and your lips and your smile.
What it's like for money to always find you.
For it just to fall in your lap.
Smiling now.
Feeling money falling into your lap into your hands now.
My body is a living miracle.
My body is a living miracle.
Feeling that vibration in your chest,
In your lungs,
Each breath,
That energy expanding through your entire body now.
Activating goosebumps,
Activating joy,
Activating the light of all things divine and sacred.
You dear artists are a living miracle.
You are a powerful,
Powerful being beyond even your imagination.
You are able to manifest by just sitting and feeling,
Gravitating that which you focus your attention on.
And as our meditation comes to an end,
Taking a moment to take a few deep breaths in this new space you have created this morning.
The air here is different.
It's unique.
It's full of possibility.
Full of creativity,
Full of gratitude.
We're gonna take three deep breaths allowing joy,
Abundance,
And love to radiate through every cell in our bodies.
Breathing deep now.
Letting a sound out full of joy,
Allowing a smile to fall over your face.
Another deep breath.
Letting that new creative energy to dance through your entire body.
Last deep breath here together.
And just taking a moment to yourself to feel whatever's here now.

I found this meditation a few weeks ago when I had forgotten to find joy for myself, I was in a darker place and after I found this meditation for the first time I really started to feel a shift inside me and I have continued to walk the path of joy since continually seeking it every day.
