This is a bedtime meditation with Reiki healing to help you drift into sleep. The first half is a guided visualization to assist with releasing the day and preparing for a positive dreamtime and day ahead. The second half is a body scan which assists in deep relaxation of the body and mind. Throughout the whole meditation, you receive Reiki healing energy which assists you in relaxing more deeply and drifting into a peaceful, restful sleep. I hope you enjoy it. Sweet Dreams.

This is a time where we prepare for sleep.

Make yourself very comfortable and make any adjustments that allow your body to naturally soften.

Good.

Now take a deep breath in,

Long breath out.

Let your breath come back to its natural,

Organic rhythm.

Allow your eyes to close if they haven't already.

Let the eyelids feel heavy on the eyes.

As if you're seeing a big movie screen on the backs of your eyelids,

Allow your day thus far to be projected onto there like images onto a screen.

Then see this screen beginning to radiate with beautiful white and golden light as the images dissolve into it.

All the important memories will now be safely stored for tomorrow.

But for now,

It is time to let them go.

It is time to let the day go.

Notice the feeling of this clean slate,

Of a mental reset.

Feel your mind relaxing into a restful state.

When we sleep,

We reset our nervous system and prepare for a new day.

Whatever thoughts and emotions we go to sleep with,

We also bring into the day ahead.

Welcome into your mind a word,

A feeling or an image of how you want to feel tomorrow.

See it projected onto the screen of your mind as a word,

Image or abstract feeling.

Now you have given your subconscious mind a positive direction for the dream time and the day ahead.

Now,

Let's assist your mind and body in the process of relaxation by consciously softening the crown of your head,

The temples,

The eyebrows and space between the eyes.

Relax the muscles behind the eyes.

Soften the cheeks.

Soften the base of the tongue and release the jaw.

Allow this relaxing sensation to continue flowing down the neck,

Relaxing the collarbone and shoulder area.

Relaxing the chest,

Upper back,

Flowing into the arms,

Elbows,

Wrists.

Softening the grip of the hands all the way to the fingertips.

The hands are letting go and as they do,

The space of the heart softens as well.

Relax your rib cage,

Your abdomen and all the abdominal organs.

Let this relaxation flow down to the lower belly and pelvic area.

Soften any tension in your pelvis,

Lower back,

Tailbone.

Release the base of your spine.

Let the relaxation flow into the hips,

Thighs,

Making them heavy as they rest into the surface beneath you,

Knees,

Lower legs,

Ankles,

Heels and relax any tension in the feet all the way to the tips of the toes.

Feel the connection of your body with the surface beneath you.

Soften and release into this support.

Allow your whole body to feel held by the earth beneath you.

Allow every breath to bring you to a deeper state of rest.

May this rest bring you great peace,

Health and joy.

Lovely voice. Short and sweet. Some light breathing, some light muscle relaxation. There’s a part where it tells you to see your day on a screen which made it worse for me personally because I was trying to fall back to sleep so maybe better used for initially falling asleep and not falling back to sleep. Daria has a lovely voice and soothing energy about her. πŸ’–
