Our bodies are beautiful and powerful expressions of Divine intelligence, constantly giving us feedback and guidance as to whether we are in balance or off balance. The thing is, though, that many of us are not really paying attention to these signals. We are so tuned out that we don't notice the signs until it is too late. And so, I invite you to join me for a simple body-awareness exercise where we get to reconnect and tune into the loving guidance of our bodies.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom.

My name is Daniel Roquejo and as always I'm deeply grateful and honored that you're choosing to join me,

That you're choosing to tune in,

That you're choosing to participate in a moment of expanding our consciousness and raising our vibration.

And so welcome,

Welcome,

Welcome.

Today's theme is let's listen to our bodies.

Let's listen to our bodies.

And this is something to do with the fact that our bodies are divinely intelligent and the fact that they are eternally seeking to guide and lead and move us toward harmony and toward peace and toward equilibrium and toward wholeness.

But oftentimes in our society it is so easy for us when we get so preoccupied with social media and so many tasks and intense schedules and so much on our plates.

So we have forgotten as a collective,

We have forgotten to listen to our bodies.

We have forgotten to tune into our bodies and pay attention to what they are telling us,

To their guidance,

To their wisdom.

And so I'm inviting us to reclaim,

To reclaim the space where we communicate,

Where we tune into our bodies so that they may guide us along the path of wholeness,

So that they may guide us along the path of pleasure and joy and peace.

Because our bodies are constantly sending us signals and whenever we experience pain or whenever we experience stiffness,

It is our bodies telling us that something is not working for us.

That we have pushed past our limits,

That we have pushed past our personal boundaries and got caught up in,

Got too caught up in doing,

Accomplishing,

Producing,

Trying to win approval,

Trying to win recognition.

And we have lost the being part of being a human being.

And so our bodies constantly seek to navigate us and guide us and lead us toward a balance between being and doing,

Between reaching out and going within.

And so I want to invite you to join me in a brief,

Brief,

Brief exercise.

It doesn't take more than a minute or so.

A brief exercise that we can do anytime and everywhere.

And so if you're sitting down in this moment,

I invite you to stand up and we're going to have a moment of body awareness,

Which is where we create a space or actually we allow for a space to emerge,

Where we get to tune in,

Where we get to hang out,

Where we get to commune with our bodies.

And so I invite you to stand up and I invite you to begin to walk around this,

This,

Oh,

Before you begin to walk around,

I invite you to take off your shoes and your socks.

I invite you to walk around barefoot.

And this may feel a little bit uncomfortable and perhaps while pushing the limits of your comfort zone.

This may be a little bit too out there,

But I still invite you to do it because we have so many nerve cells and nerve endings in our feet.

And so when they get to be in touch with the floor or if you're walking outside the ground,

That allows for so many more sensations than we have our shoes on and when we have our socks on.

And so I invite you to take off your shoes and socks or socks and shoes in whichever order you choose.

And now I invite you to begin to walk around and I invite you to pay attention to the 13 main joints that the body has.

The ankle joint and we can actually begin in the right order.

So in this moment I invite you to pay attention to ankle joints of your left side.

We're going to begin on the left side and then we're going to move all the way through to the right side.

So I invite you to pay attention to your ankle joints on your left side.

You can even wriggle your foot a little bit.

Move it around,

Just the foot.

So that's joint number one.

Joint number two,

Let's go up a little bit to the left knee.

So you can move that around a little bit,

Just the left knee.

Try to isolate it.

And it helps if you hold your hand on your knee and sort of let your hand assist the knee to move.

And the third joint is your left hip.

So you can begin to move that around a little bit.

And then we have the left shoulder.

So moving up the left shoulder,

You can move that a little bit.

Then we come to the left elbow.

So I invite you to isolate elbow movements on your left side.

And then we move a little bit further out to the wrist.

You can move that around,

Your left wrist.

All right,

Now we come to the center.

So this is joint number seven,

Which is the spine.

Now the spine is comprised of many joints,

But for the purpose of this exercise,

We're going to combine them all.

We're going to join them all.

So you can move your spine around,

Your neck,

Your head back and forth,

Just pulsing,

Moving from side to side.

And then we come back to the right wrist.

That's joint number eight,

Your right wrist.

So you can begin to move that around a little bit.

Joint number nine,

The elbow on your right side,

Your right elbow.

Then joint number 10 is your right shoulder.

So you can move that around a little bit.

Moving down to the hip,

Joint number 11.

Right hip.

Let's give that some movement,

Circular movement,

Back and forth,

Front and back,

Side to side.

Moving down to the right knee,

Joint number 12.

So you can place your hand on your knee,

Isolating the knee and assisting it to move the knee joint.

And then the last and final joint is the right ankle.

So you can lift your foot up and gently move the ankle around.

And if you're not,

For some reason,

Able to lift your foot up,

It's perfectly all right if your foot stays on the ground,

But you gently move the ankle.

So you can move the foot from side to side,

Stand on the ball of your foot,

On the heel of your foot and move it around.

All right,

So these are the 13 main joints in our bodies.

Now I invite you to,

For a brief minute,

Just walk around and move all these joints.

And while you walk around and move these joints,

I invite you to pay attention to stiffness,

If there's something that feels stuck,

If there's a pain,

If there's an ache.

I invite you to pay attention to sensations of discomfort and pain in the body.

And if you do become aware,

There's no need to label,

There's no need to describe,

There's no need to judge anything,

But simply become aware.

And you can even move into gratitude for your body letting you know,

For letting you sense where there is discomfort,

For letting you become aware of where there is discomfort.

All right,

So feel free to keep moving around if you feel inspired to do so.

If not,

You're welcome to stop moving.

And the last part of this,

Because now you've paid attention,

Now you've listened to the body,

Letting you know what's up.

The last part of this is to sort of translate that into what is causing this pain.

And so a beautiful question that we can ask is,

What are you telling me?

I'm experiencing discomfort in my right shoulder or I'm experiencing stiffness in my neck.

And what does this mean?

What are you telling me,

Dear body?

What are you telling me?

What does this mean?

So simply ask and listen to the body's response.

The body will respond in a language and in a way that you can understand.

So if we're quiet enough,

If we're still enough,

We will get guidance as to shifts and tweaks that we may need to do in our lives to retain,

To come back to balance,

To come back to harmony,

To come back to wholeness.

And this exercise,

It is beautiful,

It is powerful,

It is something that we can do every single day.

We can do it in line.

If we're standing at the grocery store,

We can do it while we're waiting for the bus.

We can do it while we're out walking.

We can do it,

You know,

We can do it anywhere,

In the doctor's waiting room or at the office when you're on your way to the bathroom for bathroom break,

You can move into moving the body around.

So it's a beautiful way of rejoining the communing between us and our bodies so that we may work together as a team,

As a powerful team,

As a loving team,

Compassionate,

Kind team.

Alright so thank you so,

So much for joining me,

For participating.

Until the next time,

I bless,

Bless,

Bless your day and I bless,

Bless,

Bless your way.

Beautiful,

Magnificent being.

Namaste.
