Good morning.

We are starting a walk out in the woods in the snow.

Just think of a time where perhaps you walked a dog the first time you walked in the snow.

You can hear the crunching of underneath your feet.

As you notice it kind of falling from the sky.

Maybe touching your brow,

Your nose,

Your cheeks.

You just love the snow.

And you enjoy how lightly it's placed on top of the branches,

On the trees.

Snow has almost like a cleansing effect.

You think of fire usually when you think of cleansing,

Right?

Like purification.

But snow is like a purine itself,

You know.

It's very clean water droplets that are crystallized in the air and are slowly bestowed upon us.

You see birds jump from branch to branch and play in the snow.

You see them just having some fun.

Sometimes you get a little cool breeze,

Cold winter air.

You see pine trees slowly bending to the grace of the snow on their branches.

Everything being lightly covered.

Sometimes some look for new paths in a clean new way that we have in the snow.

So just enjoying this walk,

This nice long walk.

Taking a moment to be in just a little bit,

Stoking your fire inside of you,

Keeping you warm.

When you're amidst the snow like this,

You almost feel that you're encompassed or just surrounded by its beauty.

You can just stand in awe.

Just enjoying it.

It's slowly starting to walk once again in this little winter wonderland.

So when we find ourselves amidst the snow,

Amidst the clean snowflakes,

We can feel good.

Good.

Now we have the chance,

The time to come out here and enjoy ourselves,

Enjoy a short little walk.

Taking a few more deeper breaths,

We can find a nice place to sit and stay for a moment here.

Knowing that our breath and our internal fire is keeping us warm.

Knowing that it's just cool enough to snow,

But warm enough that we can enjoy ourselves out here.

Perhaps some memories of another snowfall come to mind or you've enjoyed some time with family or brother or sister.

Or even some friends.

Perhaps you like sledding or skiing or snowboarding or you simply like to venture out and walk.

So now that we've found a nice spot,

We'll stay here just for a few more moments and watch the snowfall as we finish our little walking meditation.

So I want you to close your eyes.

Relax the muscles around your face.

Relax the muscles behind your eyes.

Relax the top of your neck,

Bottom of your neck and your shoulders.

And continue your way down your spine,

Relaxing your mid back,

Your low back.

Relax your chest and your core muscles.

Relax your hips,

Letting go of any tension at the top of your thighs,

Inner thighs,

Hamstrings,

A long snow just relaxing you.

Purifying your body,

Your mind,

Your spirit.

Finally getting to your knees,

Your shins,

Your calves,

Not your ankles and heels.

Fully relaxed.

Finally getting to your feet and your toes.

Also relaxing our arms and our hands and our fingers.

Staying here for a few more breaths,

Lengthening our exhale a little bit and winding down.

Choose to stay here for a few more moments and go drift off to sleep.

If you need to come up you can slowly start to bring a little movement to your fingers,

Your toes and slowly bring more attention to your breath.

Start to bring your attention to your body and your breath and your mind as you come to the end of your meditation.

Peace,

Blessings and namaste.
