However you are arriving in this moment.
You are welcome here.
This is a sacred pause.
A moment for you.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to go.
Other than being here with yourself,
With a kind presence.
So let us arrive more fully by taking a few deep breaths.
Inhaling deeply through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
Get curious about what is a movement that reveals the presence of the breath.
How does the torso move with the inhale?
And how does it move with the exhale?
Letting anything else in the background.
In this moment,
It's just this breath.
And the next one.
And the next one.
And now through the power of our imagination,
We are going to bring the out-breath all the way into the soles of the feet.
So inhaling deeply,
Expanding,
Rising tall.
And as you exhale,
All the way down through the sole of the feet into the ground.
And continue at your own rhythm,
Bringing the exhale all the way down into the earth.
Becoming aware of how this exchange of oxygen that comes into your nose and carbon dioxide that you release into the world,
This exchange reminds us of our belonging to the web of life.
We are not separate,
Isolated beings.
We are one part in that vast web of life.
So allowing yourself to access the wisdom,
The healing powers that are there,
Belonging to all of us.
Breathing in this reminder of you belong to this earth.
You are the earth.
This vast web of healing resources,
Of wisdom,
Flows in and out of us moment by moment.
And for a moment,
Rest in this space of remembrance.
You belong to this earth.
Breathing that in and out.
And as we're closing this sacred pause,
May you continue walking your path with that remembrance.
You belong.
