This practice is an invitation to start they day with a moment of grounding and relaxing into the present moment. As well as taking time to set an intention for the day ahead. Connecting with a sincere intention in the morning, can support the rest of your day to be filled with that which you choose to cultivate. You might try also making pauses during the day to remind yourself of the intention. Blessings!

Welcome,

Thank you for being here.

I invite you to find a comfortable posture that supports comfort,

Ease and also that helps you to stay awake,

Present,

Noticing what happens if you hold an upright position without forcing,

Without straining your back,

Inviting the shoulders to drop,

Rest,

Letting the arms rest easily on your lap or the sides of your body,

And taking a deep breath here,

Inhaling deeply,

Noticing that movement of the inhalation and exhaling gently,

Noticing the movement of the exhalation,

In,

Expanding,

Rising,

Out,

Deflating,

Softening.

Get curious about how this movement of expanding with the inhale and deflating with the exhale brings us into the present moment,

Collecting our attention into this moment present with the movement that accompanies the breath.

Deep inhale,

Gentle exhale.

See if there is any holding or tension within your body that can be easily released,

Recognizing that,

And as you exhale,

Inviting softness,

Release.

As we inhale,

We bring our attention to that area where it's tight,

Where there is any holding,

And as we exhale,

We invite softness,

Release,

Allowing the breath now to go back to its natural rhythm.

Breathing naturally,

Bringing the curiosity now to that we are being breathed by life in every moment,

Breathing naturally,

Which is allowing the breath to go in and out.

Even if very gentle,

Or maybe it's more noticeable for you,

Get curious.

How is this,

I'm being breathed by life,

Allowing yourself to relax into this moment,

To be here without having to do anything,

Go anywhere,

Say anything.

You can just be here resting within the present moment,

Noticing breath after breath,

And asking yourself now,

What is an intention I want to hold?

For myself today?

Letting the answer arise from within.

What intention do I want to hold for today?

You might want to ask,

What do I want to cultivate today?

Breathe through your intention,

Inhale it,

Exhale it,

Carrying your intention with you in this day,

Watering it like a garden.

I wish you well.
