Hello everyone,

Welcome to the third part of this Yoga Nidra series for balancing and healing the chakras.

Today we move on to the third chakra,

The solar plexus.

The solar plexus chakra is located in the upper abdomen around the area of the stomach and it plays a vital role in our overall wellbeing,

Confidence and personal power.

When it is unbalanced we may feel a lack of self-esteem,

Confidence and motivation.

We may also experience difficulty in making decisions and asserting ourselves.

Today's Yoga Nidra practice will help balance and heal these traumas relating to the solar plexus chakra,

Promoting confidence,

Personal power and a sense of self-worth.

Just know that there is no way to do this practice wrong and there is nothing you even need to do.

That's the true beauty of Yoga Nidra.

Simply follow my guidance and relax and trust that your subconscious will know what to do.

Please try to remain awake and alert throughout the practice,

But if you do drift off,

Don't stress,

Just simply come back to my voice.

Now let's begin by taking one last stretch,

A little wriggle before coming to stillness for the remainder of the practice.

Lay down on your back in Shavasana,

Legs and arms uncrossed and slightly away from the body,

The palms of your hands facing upwards.

Take a few deep breaths,

Allowing yourself to relax and let go of any tension in your body.

Inhale and as you exhale,

Feel your body sinking deeper and deeper into the ground.

Feel the connection between your body and the ground,

Experiencing the support and stability beneath you.

Now shift your awareness to your upper abdomen where the solar plexus chakra is located and visualize a warm radiant yellow light radiating from this area,

Symbolizing the energy of the solar plexus chakra.

Feel the warmth and brightness of this light expanding and filling your entire abdomen,

Bringing balance and healing to your solar plexus.

With your awareness of the solar plexus chakra,

Check in with your emotions.

How have you been feeling lately?

Have you noticed any emotional wounds or blockages?

Give yourself permission to feel and release emotions in a healthy and non-judgmental way.

Release any emotions that arise and allow them to flow through you,

Knowing that this practice is here to support your emotional well-being.

Now take a moment to set your intention for this practice.

Set the intention to bring balance and healing to your solar plexus chakra,

Allowing its energy to flow freely and fostering confidence,

Personal power and self-worth.

We will now explore a rotation of consciousness,

But instead of moving through specific body parts,

We will focus on different elements associated with the solar plexus chakra.

As I mention each element,

Simply bring your awareness to it and feel its presence within you.

First,

Bring your attention to the element of fire.

Visualize a warm,

Radiant flame burning brightly in your solar plexus area.

Feel the energy,

Vitality and transformation associated with fire.

Next,

Shift your focus to the element of water.

Imagine a gentle flowing stream or a calm lake within your solar plexus chakra and feel the fluidity,

Adaptability and emotional depth that water represents.

Now bring your awareness to the element of earth.

Visualize a solid,

Grounding foundation in your solar plexus area,

Like a rich soil or a sturdy rock.

Feel the stability,

Strength and nurturing qualities of the earth.

Lastly,

Shift your attention to the element of air.

Imagine a gentle breeze or a fresh breath of wind flowing through your solar plexus chakra.

Feel the lightness,

Clarity and expansiveness associated with air.

Take a moment to encompass all these elements within your solar plexus chakra,

Embracing their qualities and allowing them to harmonize and balance your energy center.

Now shift your awareness to your breath.

Begin by taking a deep inhale through your nose,

Feeling the breath expand in your abdomen.

As you exhale,

Release the breath slowly and audibly through your mouth,

Allowing any tension or stagnant energy to leave your body.

This audible exhale signifies the release of any blockages or limitations in your solar plexus chakra.

Continue this pattern of deep inhales through the nose and audible exhales through the mouth,

Visualizing the exhale and the sensation of letting go.

In and out.

With each breath out,

Visualize any self-doubt,

Fear or limiting beliefs being released from your solar plexus chakra.

As you inhale,

Imagine drawing in confidence,

Personal power and self-worth.

As you stay with this breathing,

Bring to mind the concept of opposites.

Visualize the energy flowing from your solar plexus chakra as a sense of heaviness when you inhale and a feeling of lightness when you exhale.

As you breathe in,

Imagine a grounding,

Heavy sensation settling in your solar plexus chakra,

Anchoring you to the present moment and instilling a sense of stability and confidence.

Feel the weight of this heaviness,

Allowing it to create a strong foundation within your solar plexus chakra.

Embrace the empowering qualities of groundedness and self-assuredness that arise from this sensation of heaviness.

As you exhale,

Envision a gentle release,

Allowing any unnecessary tension or burdens to dissipate.

Feel a lightness washing over your solar plexus chakra,

Lifting away any insecurities or self-doubt.

Allow this lightness to expand and uplift you,

Promoting a sense of freedom,

Joy and inner peace.

With each inhalation,

Invite the heaviness to anchor and strengthen your solar plexus chakra.

Feel it supporting your self-esteem,

Personal power and assertiveness.

Embrace the feeling of grounded confidence that arises from this sense of heaviness.

With each exhalation,

Let go of any emotional or energetic weight that no longer serves you.

Experience the lightness spreading throughout your solar plexus chakra,

Creating space for self-expression,

Personal growth and a vibrant sense of vitality.

Continue alternating between these two sensations with each breath.

Feeling the grounding heaviness and exhaling the uplifting lightness.

Embrace the harmony created by these opposites,

Finding the perfect balance within your solar plexus chakra.

Notice the heavy and light energies blending together,

Harmonizing within your solar plexus.

Notice how they work in tandem to create equilibrium and a deep sense of inner strength.

Allow this balanced energy to radiate throughout your entire being,

Fostering a harmonious connection between your personal power and inner lightness.

It's now time for visualization.

Picture yourself standing in a vast field of vibrant yellow flowers.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and the gentle breeze brushing against your face.

Take a moment to fully immerse yourself in the beauty and serenity of this environment.

As you walk through the field,

Notice how the flowers sway in the breeze,

Radiating their vibrant yellow color.

Feel the energy of the flowers infusing your solar plexus,

Bringing confidence,

Personal power and self-worth.

With each step you take,

Feel a sense of empowerment growing within you,

Allowing your self-doubt or limiting beliefs to be transformed into self-assurance and strength.

Feel the energy of the flowers supporting you and nourishing your solar plexus.

Take a few moments to soak in the beauty of the field and the energy it imparts.

Notice the confidence,

Personal power and self-worth that fill your being.

Rest here in this tranquil space for a few minutes before I'll slowly guide you back.

Rest here connecting with your solar plexus chakra and allowing it to integrate the healing and balancing energy of the visualization.

When you are ready to conclude the visualization,

Slowly step out of the field,

Feeling the ground beneath your feet and the energy of the flowers lingering within you.

Take a deep breath and express gratitude for this journey of healing and balance in your solar plexus chakra.

Bring your awareness back to your breath and take a few deep mindful breaths,

Feeling the sensations in your body.

Now,

Gradually begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Just bringing back some small movement into the body,

Just moving anything you're comfortable with moving right now.

Slowly at your own pace,

Turn that into some bigger movements,

Maybe taking a big stretch.

No need to rush,

Just go at your own pace.

And when you're ready,

Bring your knees up to your chest and roll over onto the right side of your body into fetal position.

Just take a moment here to express gratitude for this practice and the balance it has brought to your solar plexus chakra.

As we conclude this practice,

Remember that you can return to this space of healing and balance anytime you need.

Take this feeling of harmony with you throughout your day.

And whenever you're ready,

Take as much time as you need,

Bring yourself back up and bring yourself back fully to the present.

The practice of yoga nidra is now complete.
