This is a body wisdom practice.
Take a comfortable seat and close your eyes.
Take a few deeper breaths and feel your lungs expand on the insides of your ribs.
Just notice how you're feeling.
What sensations are present in your body right now?
What emotion or emotions?
Are you feeling?
See if you can list one to two emotions.
Our mind is filled with thoughts and has so many questions and wants to know all the answers right now.
And sometimes we can't access the answers that we want.
Easily.
And the way that we can do that is to connect to our body's wisdom.
So you want to Get quiet.
And let your body talk.
So put your hands on your body.
Anywhere that feels good and natural to you.
Become aware of your breath.
And feel it moving through your body.
Every time you exhale,
Let something go and feel your body soften.
Clear any stuckness or stagnation.
Or tension that you might be holding on to.
And as you continue to breathe.
Feel your awareness moving down and in from your mind to your body.
To the part of you that senses,
That feels.
That nose.
Notice more of your awareness filling up your body.
Scan down from.
Your face.
Down through your neck.
Down your shoulders.
And your arms.
All the way down to your fingers.
Then move into your chest and your upper back.
And down into your belly and your lower back.
Down into your pelvis.
Hips.
Down your thighs,
Knees.
Shins,
Calves.
And all the way down into your feet and into your toes.
Get acquainted with your inner landscape.
So often we're rushing through our day,
Moving fast,
Taking actions.
So right now.
Pause and stay tuned into your body.
Stay in the physical experience of being embodied.
Connected with what's going on physically.
In your body.
Are so many of the answers that you seek.
You just need to get still enough and quiet enough to hear it.
So I want you to ask your body,
Body.
How do you feel?
Just notice what comes up.
What is your body?
Telling you.
What answer?
Now ask your body,
Body.
What do you need from me?
I just listen.
Be completely open to whatever you hear.
It might be something simple like drink more water.
Get more sleep,
Or it might be something big and scary like you need to make this decision,
Make this change.
Take a deep breath.
And acknowledge whatever your body just revealed to you.
And set an intention right now.
To honor that.
To honor what your body told you.
This is a powerful daily practice.
To make space to let your body guide you.
Often when we try to answer questions only from our mind,
We end up spinning in confusion.
Indecision.
Doubt,
Worry,
Fear.
Our body knows what the mind cannot.
So allow the wisdom of your body to guide you.
Do this practice every single day for 30 days and notice what happens.
Start to build a relationship with your inner body wisdom,
With your intuition.
This is a simple way that we can get out of our heads and into our bodies to be guided from within.
And build a collaborative relationship with our bodies and our inner knowing.
