This daily message is a powerful reminder for efficent people. The hard working, never resting, ambitious high-performers. Being efficient is amazing and it helps you to get results in. But when it becomes too much, you start to hold yourself back. You're not able anymore to drop into the parasymphathetic state where you receive, where you get create and where life starts to flow. Being efficient too much makes life hard. Your always working towards something, and that also means that you are never there.

Hey my love.

Today I want to talk to you about something that is really personal actually.

So at the company that I co-founded,

The Business Health Academy,

We have this test.

It's,

My business partner,

She's doing this stress test where you can see what different parts of you are creating an unhealthy stress in your daily life.

And for me,

What is stressing me the most is that I am a super efficient person.

And like when you're efficient then it can be in a good manner because you're taking the time that you have and you make the best out of it.

You're working fast,

You're creating a plan,

Like you're,

You get to where you want to be.

Like you're,

You're someone who can take action and you're executing and you're getting results.

But the moment this efficiency that is within you is getting too high you start to,

Um,

To hold yourself back.

You start to get into your own way because it's getting hard for you to,

To do a break,

To do nothing,

To go on to vacation and to,

To bring in this feminine way of living.

Because being efficient is,

Is being a lot in a masculinity where you do,

Where you work,

Where you,

Where you hustle,

Where you're,

You know,

Like where you're not making any pause.

And this can lead to burning out.

It's holding you back to drop into the parasympathetic state where you can be creative,

Where you can let things flow,

Where you can actually start to receive things.

When you're super efficient,

You're constantly on the run.

You're constantly searching for something.

You're working towards something.

And when you're always working towards something,

Then you will never reach that point of satisfaction.

You will never be happy about where you are right now.

And so it was a really,

A really great learning for me that I don't always have to be efficient and that sometimes being inefficient makes me even more efficient because I'm not standing in my,

My way now.

I'm starting to receiving,

I'm starting to creating more to be more in a creative state.

Even those talkings here on Inside Time are,

I,

I do this when I'm in a parasympathetic state where I'm creative and where I just speak from my heart.

And before them,

I was always thinking like,

What should I talk about?

I was scripting things out.

I was,

I was,

It was from my head.

And now I'm just sitting here without like any script,

Really like nothing is here.

I'm just talking,

Whatever it is in my mind.

And it's just working because I'm not trying to be efficient.

I'm trying to,

I'm trying to really open your heart.

And these messages are coming from within my heart right into yours.

So if you see yourself as someone who is super efficient,

Just,

Yeah,

Just allow yourself to,

To make a pause and to receive.

If you have any questions to that or any stories you want to share,

Please feel free to share them in the feedback.

I'm always reading those and yeah,

It's just great to see other people winning,

To see what other people are going through.

And it's just makes this,

Yeah,

Like other people are going to read your feedback maybe as well,

And they may feel seen and understood and then they know that they are not alone.

So be happy always to share your thoughts and feedbacks.

I am efficient too. Perhaps it is the way I was raised; in a business and competitive family 🤗

Becoming aware of the habit that you have formed, whether “good” or “bad,” is top notch!
