As you bring awareness inside.

Allow yourself to drop in and in.

Letting the mind quiet and rest in the space inside the body.

Where can you find your resting space?

Breathing through the space inside the head.

Allow it to be still and open,

Empty.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Letting that spacious stillness move down into the throat,

Into the chest.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Spacious stillness in the belly,

Inside the pelvis.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Glancing the possibility of the body dissolving into nothingness.

So awareness is inhabiting vast stillness.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

Letting the mind be still and open,

Empty.

You might sense that this vast stillness is the essence of everything,

Of all beings,

Of landforms,

The sky,

The space between everything.

No solid separate self.

As with Cynthia's other sessions, this has no heavy structure or directions, and offers substantial silences that I find very helpful. For me, there's not enough of this style of guided meditation available. Thank you, Cynthia.

Very minimal guidance or speaking and ample periods of silence. Very nice! Thank you.

Wonderful, as always with Cynthia. Gives you the experience of silence rather than just talking about it. A word of warning before the longest pauses might be a good idea though, as otherwise (especially at first hearing) they tend to produce a distracting undercurrent of concern that the recording might have stopped

Having that little bit of instruction and so much silence was very different for guided meditations here. I liked it. Thank you.

Lately I’ve been gravitating to meditations with longer periods of silence. This one was just what I needed tonight!

Simple, but powerful meditation. Really nice pacing throughout, and the wonderful stretch of Silence in between.
