These stories among so many others common and not always met with ill intent You were conditioned to question your worth from a very young age and maybe you bought into the stories But those old stories are not truth and they can be shed just like an old coat simply by recalling past experiences of Small acts of love those moments of kindness you received without asking for them Still reside within your body and it may be so hard to think back to when you were shown Unconditional love or kindness but by tapping into your body's memory of them you can begin to cultivate self love and genuine kindness towards yourself to begin take a deep breath in and slowly exhale allow your body to relax and become still then begin to recall moments of Small loving acts you received in your life ones that you didn't ask for Or maybe think back to your childhood when you were cared for Being fed held when you were crying or someone that held your hand as you cross the street safely,
And if this is difficult Just take a few deep breaths in and out And relax into your body as best you can and maybe you remember someone offering a small act of kindness Even yesterday the clerk at the store smiling to you someone holding the door open for you at work Begin to feel the sensations in your body Noticing areas of softness or warmth.
Maybe your breathing has become slow and steady Just becoming aware of your body's response to the love that you've experienced now Place your right hand on your heart Noticing the warmth of connection maybe feeling your heartbeat and silently or out loud Or for yourself the following phrases.
I remember love I am worthy of love love flows through me and from me now Place your left hand on the area of your body Where you feel your breath the most that might be the belly or the diaphragm and as you hold yourself in this loving Embrace repeat the following phrases silently or out loud.

I am held in love I am love now feeling into your body just noticing any shifts and Just receiving the messages your body is offering you and you can spend as much time as you like with this practice You could even offer these phrases anytime you're feeling sad Lonely or depressed and continue to practice and experience love for yourself Grow your capacity to tap into the love you have received and has always been within you remember love resides within your heart namaste
