Sunflowers are symbols of confidence, and they inspire us to become bolder and stronger. Sunflowers are linked to the solar plexus chakra, our center of personal power. From a magickal standpoint, sunflowers offer us resilience, positivity, and spiritual awakening. This meditation with shamanic drumming invites you to attune to your personal power through the magick of sunflowers and bring love, light, and positivity to yourself.

Welcome to this guided meditation for attuning to your personal power through the magic of sunflowers.

Begin in a position that is comfortable for you,

Either sitting or lying down,

Allowing the body to sink into the earth and be supported by the earth.

Close your eyes.

Relax the body completely.

Lift the head a few times to release any tight spots from the back of the neck.

Always know that you are in a safe environment,

In sacred space.

Now visualize the body lying on the earth,

The entire body rooting into and being supported by the earth.

Now move the awareness to the sound of the breath as it flows freely and naturally between the nostrils.

Notice the feeling of the breath as it enters and leaves the body.

Maintaining awareness of the breath,

Continue to breathe through the belly.

With each inhale,

The abdomen is expanding.

With each exhale,

The navel is drawn in towards the spine.

Bring your awareness here now to the solar plexus chakra,

Which is at your upper abdomen.

This is our center of confidence and personal power.

With each inhale,

The body is becoming more and more relaxed.

The body is becoming soft,

Loose,

And calm.

Allow this feeling of relaxation to grow inch by inch throughout the body.

Inhale positivity.

Exhale all negativity.

Breathe in love and admiration for yourself.

Breathe out all obstacles to this path.

As you continue to relax and open yourself up to divine love,

You might choose to perform the surya mudra by bending the ring finger to the base of the thumb and pressing lightly while keeping the other fingers extended.

This mudra is known as the gesture of the sun because it draws in solar energy and vitality and awakens the solar plexus chakra.

Our solar plexus chakra's meaning is I can.

In your mind's eye,

See yourself outside in nature,

In a field that is filled with sunflowers.

You are surrounded by love and light,

Filled with tranquility.

You step into the field and walk between the beautiful sunflowers.

They are majestic,

Firmly rooted,

While standing tall and reaching for the sun.

Sunflowers offer us resilience,

Positivity,

And spiritual awakening.

From a magical standpoint,

Their bright petals radiate positive energy and chase away darkness.

As you gaze upon the sunflowers,

See,

Sense,

And feel their positivity,

Awakening the light within yourself to chase away any darkness that might be troubling you.

Now see a bright yellow light glowing around your upper abdomen,

Where the solar plexus chakra is located.

This is your chakra of personal power.

Breathe into it now,

Allowing this chakra to relax and expand as you do so.

With the sunflowers as your inspiration and as your witness,

Speak in your mind the following affirmations.

I value myself.

I am worth my weight in gold.

You feel inspired to become bolder and stronger.

Repeat again.

I value myself.

I am worth my weight in gold.

You embrace joy and positivity.

Repeat again.

I value myself.

I am worth my weight in gold.

Take a few moments now to bathe in the energies of strength and resilience,

To honor your value.

Bring your awareness back to the breath,

The natural quiet breath going in and out of the body.

Maintain awareness of the breath and feel it growing stronger and steadier.

Take a slow,

Conscious,

Deep breath in and let it go completely.

Allow the mind to become external now.

Shift the attention to sounds within this room,

The sound of the breath,

Sounds around the earth,

The sound of my voice.

Be aware of the sounds around you.

Be aware of the body.

Be aware of the breath.

Begin to invite subtle movements into the hands and feet,

The fingers and toes.

Take another deep breath and release it slowly.

May you shine as brightly as the sun and may you always know that you are worth your weight in gold.
