In this Monday edition,
We will explore calling upon the magic of the moon.
When the moon cycles through its phases each month,
We are reminded that the cycle of life is unbroken,
Having no beginning and no ending.
In Wicca,
We see these three aspects as the maiden,
The mother,
And the crone.
The maiden shows us seal,
The mother invites us to be nurturing,
And the crone demonstrates wisdom.
Some days,
We will see the moon shining brightly.
On others,
We don't see the moon at all.
In similar fashion,
We don't radiate the same way every day either.
Some days we might feel more outgoing,
A bit more introspective on others.
This is okay.
This is very okay,
And it's natural.
All of us need time for building,
Regeneration,
And doing inner work,
So it's important for us to recognize and safeguard that time.
Take a pause today to recognize and embrace your current phase,
So to speak,
Which may or may not coincide with the present lunar cycle.
Don't force yourself to be someplace you simply aren't at this moment.
Meet yourself where you are at this time.
There's nothing wrong with looking ahead,
As long as you don't sacrifice the present in the process.
If you're not happy with the current situation,
Formulate the forward motion you wish to bring about,
But only after you've acknowledged the present.
The moon's influence over the tides cannot be rushed.
Likewise,
Your influence is uniquely yours.
Eagerness,
Steadfastness,
And wisdom are not mutually exclusive,
But each aspect offers even more value when it is acknowledged.
Make honoring the present a vital part of your spiritual safekeeping.
