It's preferable to begin this meditation in a seated position,
But whatever is comfortable with you is fine.
However you are positioned,
Just feel a connection with the Earth.
Feel yourself drawing strength from the Earth.
Take a slow deep breath in,
Breathe out slowly as well.
Allow yourself to relax completely.
Do this several times.
You are about to begin a very rewarding journey my friend.
Starting with your inner strength.
You've already come in contact with your inner strength by choosing meditation.
By doing so you put forth effort and demonstrated how much you value yourself and your well-being.
That means you are amazingly strong.
Concentrate on your breath as you continue feeling your relationship with the Earth that's already engaged by your root chakra.
Perhaps you will wish to explore the Prithvi mudra by connecting the tips of your thumbs and ring fingers together.
Feel the Earth supporting you.
As you do so,
Realize that your footprints on this Earth are a representation of your inner strength my dear friend.
Every step you've taken was driven by you and your strength.
You make a difference.
Consider that strength comes in many forms.
Some of these forms might be walking a new path,
Leading others,
Giving to others,
Giving to oneself,
Speaking out,
Or staying silent.
As you contemplate these forms of expression,
Recognize how you have experienced inner strength by practicing any of these paths.
You make a difference.
With your inner strength,
Which is so great,
Please take a few moments to honor and recognize yourself.
You matter.
You make a difference.
You are strong.
At your own pace,
Begin bringing subtle movements into your fingers and toes,
And eventually into the rest of your body as this meditation concludes.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes and take another deep breath.
You matter.
You make a difference.
You are strong.
You are so strong.
Always honor your inner strength.
