Hello beautiful people,
I am Christina and welcome to this grounding journey.
This meditation is designed to ground your energy into the earth through movement,
Pausing and taking a moment to connect with your body.
The intention is to take a break from your busy lives running around,
To stop and slow down.
Allowing us to come back to calmness,
To re-center ourselves and clear the mind.
I will guide you throughout this whole session.
When you are ready,
Let's begin.
Please find a quiet place in nature if you can.
A place where you can take your shoes off and place your feet on the grass.
If that's not an option,
Please find a quiet place where you feel comfortable,
Where you won't be interrupted.
And allow yourself to feel your bare feet on the ground.
I invite you to stand tall,
Shoulders relaxed as you close your eyes.
Let your feet connect with the earth.
Feel its solid support beneath you.
Know that it is holding you up as you take a few deep breaths.
Allow any and all tension to melt away.
I invite you to begin to rotate your head and neck slowly and gently.
Letting that energy of movement flow downwards as you start to move the shoulders.
Shaking out the arms,
The hands and the wrists.
Shaking out the whole body as you exhale through the mouth to release any and all tension.
Release heaviness and everything that no longer serves you.
Moving down the legs,
Shaking each leg at a time.
Shaking the whole body at once.
Let the shaking fill your whole being as you bounce lightly on the spot.
Feeling the rhythm of your body moving,
Releasing.
As you feel new blood flow begins to circulate.
As new energy is regenerated.
As everything moves within you and starts to come alive.
Slowly allow yourself to find stillness.
Taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
Keeping the eyes closed,
Notice the sensations in your body.
Feel into what is moving and flowing.
Give yourself permission to slow down.
Now bring your awareness to your feet.
Feel into the soles of your feet,
Your toes and your heels.
Feel the ground beneath you,
The grass,
The carpet,
The floorboards.
Feel what your feet are touching.
And begin to imagine roots growing from your feet.
Entering you deeply into the earth.
Let your roots spread all around you.
Travelling deeper into the soils,
Into the mud,
Into the rock.
Moving through all the layers of the earth.
Give yourself permission to let go and allow the earth to hold you.
Feel this connection and allow yourself to feel held,
Grounded and supported.
Taking a deep breath into your nose.
Filling up the whole body full of air.
And opening the mouth,
Fully exhale.
Letting it all go.
Taking a deep breath in.
Opening the mouth and letting go.
One more time,
Deep breath in.
And release what no longer serves you.
Bringing your awareness back into your body.
Moving slowly when you are ready.
You can gently open up your eyes.
Coming back into the here and now.
Allow the body to move slowly.

For giving yourself the gift of slowing down.
Of space,
Of stillness and quiet.
