This is Michelle Swern.
Today we're going to do a bite-sized meditation about loving kindness and nurturing.
Find a comfortable spot.
Settle in.
Notice where you are.
Notice the sound,
The smell.
As you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Notice anything you see behind your eyelids.
Continue to breathe.
Roll down your shoulders.
Release any tension as you settle in.
Notice your breath as it fills your lungs.
And notice the temperature as it leaves your nose.
Breathing in and out.
As you breathe in,
Feel your body and your heart fill with loving kindness.
Breathe out and send that loving kindness to those who you nurture.
Breathe in and relax your muscles and feel the loving kindness return to you.
Breathe out and send that loving kindness to those who have nurtured you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Returning to the present moment.
