Use the void to deepen your meditation practice. Don't focus, don't count, don't use the breath, don't open anything, just be. Relax, get comfortable, sit with ease, be all that is, and be nothing at the same time. This meditation is for advanced practitioners who want to let go of all props used in meditation!

My name is Kori,

Let's sit down,

Comfortable,

Get quiet and meditate together.

Soften your spine,

Relax your chin down towards your chest slightly.

Tighten your shoulders and relax into your seated position.

Setting the intention inside to just go with the flow.

Relax your breathing,

Slow down your thinking and be okay with whatever comes up in your meditation today.

Starting from a place of gentleness,

Kindness and ease with your practice.

Deepen your breathing so that you start to connect more to your body.

Following your breath all the way down into your abdomen so that you start to feel inside of yourself.

What's going on inside today?

Notice if you have any sensations in your body that are louder than others.

Maybe you have tension in your body,

What is comfort in your tummy or your head.

Just feel into yourself and check out all the different corners of your being.

Where are you at?

How do you feel?

Settle into those feelings.

Whatever comes.

To make our meditation easy and comfortable,

We're not trying to change anything today.

We're not trying to change any tension.

We're not trying to lessen any stress.

We're not trying to open our heart chakra.

Today is a meditation where we just are easy and comfortable and kind to whatever comes up in our mind and whatever we're feeling in our body.

It's an easygoing meditation.

Think of it like that.

We're just observing and feeling.

Stepping away from the rest of our everyday life.

Stepping away from connection to other people.

We're stepping back and into ourselves to just be with ourselves for a while.

I want you to see what happens with your thoughts if you're not trying to even quieten them.

Not if you're not doing any particular breathing.

You're not imagining,

Visualizing,

Counting.

Take away all of those things.

We're not focusing on a particular point in our body or our mind.

We're just being.

Just thinking,

Breathing and sitting with ourselves right now.

See if you can not focus on the noises around you.

Whether there's a clock ticking or there's house noises moving,

Shifting.

Maybe you can hear things happening outside.

Try not to even focus on those things.

Just be.

Just let your mind be.

We're not focusing on breathing,

Counting,

Sounds,

Feelings,

Thoughts.

We're not focusing on anything particularly.

We're just allowing everything to be.

Making no attachments to any of it.

It just is.

It's just there.

If you start to attach to a story in your thinking.

If you find yourself journeying through obligations that you have to do.

Break away.

Just close off the thought and just come back to all of it.

Come back to the generalization of just being sad,

Quiet.

Keep pulling yourself back to the all and the nothing.

As soon as you feel yourself focusing on your breathing,

Focusing on sensations in your body,

See if you can pull yourself out,

Detach,

Disconnect and try and go back to that place of just floating in the middle of all of it.

Nothing is special and nothing is not special.

As if you're creating your own little void in the middle of all that is.

Don't focus on your sit bones.

Don't feel your legs.

Just be.

Imagine that you have no border,

No flesh,

No body.

Imagine that you're just in the space.

You are the space.

You aren't the space.

You are the space.

How long could you sit and just be?

Nothing and yet everything.

No identity through feelings,

Through visualizations,

Through thoughts and feelings.

What if you weren't creating any identity and you were just being?

What would that look like?

How long can you be in the all and in the nothingness at the same time without pulling something to you so that you can identify with it?

How long can you be in the void?

How long can you let yourself be?

How long can you be in the void?

How long can you be in the void?

How long can you be in the void?

Gently open your eyes.

Namaste,

My friend.

Namaste.

Namaste.
