Are you ready to meditate with Cori?

Make sure that you're all comfortable and snug and warm in your room.

Make sure that the lights are just right so you can relax your body and let go of your busy day.

It was summer where Stephanie lived.

It was 101 degrees.

She was melting.

It was hot and humid and it felt like summer was lasting forever and ever and ever.

She was walking from the bus stop,

Coming home from school.

As soon as she got in the house,

She kicked off her shoes.

She unbuttoned the top of her school blouse,

Threw off her backpack,

Went straight in the kitchen and got a big glass of ice cold water.

She gulped half of it down and then held the rest of it up to her forehead,

Trying to cool her face and her cheeks and her neck.

The ice was melting super fast in the glass,

Was so warm outside.

She decided she was gonna go upstairs and have a cold shower.

She'd been looking forward to one all day long.

She got upstairs,

Got undressed and hopped into the shower and bit by bit made it colder and colder and colder until she was finally standing there in a freezing cold shower and it was beautiful.

When Stephanie got out,

She put on a comfortable tracksuit,

Sat down at a dressing table and started to brush her wet hair.

The sun came shining through the window and she thought about getting up and closing her curtains so it stayed cooler in her room.

And just as she did that,

The sun reflected off her magical earrings.

I wonder what's happening in Moonbow Forest,

She thought.

She put the earrings on,

Took a big,

Deep breath and closed her eyes.

But first,

Today,

She could feel the tingles in her toes.

It was like something was tickling around her feet and then the tingles moved all the way up her body.

She felt them the strongest in her nose and it twitched and it itched and it tickled as if she was going to sneeze.

And then she saw the curtain.

She sighed a big relief.

It was still there.

The magic was still working.

She loved Moonbow Forest and everything,

Everything about it.

It was her special place.

She lifted up her hand and pulled the curtain to the side and stepped into Moonbow Unicorn Forest once again.

The grass and its soft,

Spiky feeling underneath her feet made her smile.

But then she instantly felt cold,

Cold,

Like icy cold on her feet.

And she opened her eyes and looked down quickly and she was standing on a patch of grass.

She could barely see the grass.

Most of it was covered in snow.

Snow,

She thought.

This was the first time in all the many times that she'd been to Moonbow Forest that she'd actually arrived when it was snowing.

At first she thought maybe she'd dropped or landed or just magically shifted somewhere else.

What if this isn't Moonbow Forest?

As she frantically looked around for familiar sights,

She could see the forest.

It looked exactly the same except it was covered in a blanket of snow.

And all the leaves,

The chocolate tree and the mint leaves were covered in snow.

Snow was far as her eyes could see and it was so silent.

The blanket of snow changed the sounds that she heard there.

It was as if you could hear a pin drop.

It was so quiet.

But along with the quiet came the sense of peace and calm.

And it was so tranquil and pretty to look at.

Like snow white had landed all over Moonbow Forest.

And then off in the distance,

She felt and saw something move.

She squinted her eyes a little bit.

It was difficult to see anything.

The snow was so bright.

But then she noticed Luna.

Walking towards her.

Chewing as if she'd just finished eating some grass off the ground that she must've dug for and found underneath the snow.

Stephanie started to run closer to her,

Very aware of the crunchy snow underneath her bare feet.

As she was running,

She was laughing and shouting,

It's cold.

I can't tell you how nice this is coming from where I'm coming from.

There's a heat wave.

This is just so beautiful,

But it's so cold.

Luna said,

Welcome my friend.

Climb on my back.

I have some new special things to show you since you've never been here before in the snow.

As soon as Stephanie climbed onto Luna's back,

Luna took flight.

And her feet instantly started to warm up.

Even though the place was covered in snow and it was cold,

The air up above the trees seemed to have like a warm blanket around it.

Like a pocket of warm air that they were flying in.

Stephanie could feel her body defrosting and melting once again.

They were flying over the trees and over the rivers.

Luna took her in a new direction.

I want to show you some very special people and also some very special places.

Something bright red,

Bright green and bright blue,

All mixed in swirly colors together caught her eye.

As they flew closer and closer,

She noticed that there was a giant mountain that was bright green and blue and different colors of swirls all the way through it with a cone on top.

Like it was an upside down snow cone.

The cone was what looked like,

Well,

Was it made of mountain?

Was it made of paper?

Was it made of ice cream cone waffle?

She squinted and tried to see,

But at first she couldn't really make it out,

But she could definitely,

Definitely make out the snow cone part,

The icy part.

Stephanie said,

Is that a snow cone mountain?

Luna turned her head slightly and said,

Oh yes,

You bet it is.

Luna landed at the bottom of the snow cone mountain.

There were trails of juice running from the top,

All different colors.

Luna said,

Give it a try if you want.

Every one tastes different.

Taste all the different colors.

Stephanie hopped down and went over and tried yellow,

Green,

Blue,

And red.

She was right.

They were yummy.

She quickly,

Once again,

Cooled down because of the icy cold snow cone.

This is amazing,

She said.

Is this only here when it snows?

Yes,

Said Luna.

There's something else only here when it snows that I want you to meet.

Follow me.

Stephanie started to walk next to Luna and they walked about a third of the way around the snow cone mountain.

When they walked around the corner,

There sat on a very big throne that was made completely out of ice.

Behind it was a gigantic castle.

It was just ice.

It was just see-through.

And the sun was shining down on it and it was so pretty.

It was breathtaking,

Almost.

Even though the castle was so beautiful,

Stephanie couldn't stop staring at the throne.

Sat on the throne was a girl.

As they got closer,

The girl stood up and smiled to greet them.

Is this Stephanie?

Finally,

She said.

Luna greeted her by rubbing her nose on the girl's forehead as if they were rubbing noses together.

Luna turned around and said,

This is the snow princess.

Hello,

She said.

I'm so happy to meet you.

I've heard so much about you.

Finally,

It's snowing here and I get to meet you.

My name's Crystal.

Stephanie was absolutely mesmerized by Crystal's dress.

It made sounds like bells when she moved.

It was made of icicles.

And they clanked and clinked and rang and knocked on each other like bells ringing or like a wind chime in the wind.

It was so perfect.

She wanted a dress like that.

Crystal saw her looking at her dress.

Oh yes,

It's beautiful,

Isn't it?

You only get dresses like this when you get to a certain age.

I remember wanting one when I was little for so long.

And then I finally got one.

It's very,

Very beautiful,

But it's pretty cold,

She said.

Stephanie laughed as well.

I bet it is,

She thought.

And then,

Just as she was thinking that,

A boy came from around one of the trees near the castle,

Near the palace made of ice.

He had dark hair,

Very,

Very dark,

Like shiny black ice.

And his eyes were very,

Very dark brown,

So it made them look black also.

He said,

Oh,

Hi,

Stephanie.

My name's Prince Frost.

I've heard about you too.

It's about time you were here.

It's been snowing here for three weeks,

Stephanie thought.

Wow,

Has it been that long since I've been?

Luna heard her thinking this and turned around and said,

It's been over a month.

Stephanie apologized and said,

I must try and get here more often.

Prince Frost said,

Well,

Now that you're here,

We have some awesome things to show you.

We're super excited.

What do you think you'd like to see first?

Do you want to see the chocolate ice cream sled ride?

The slurpy dive pool?

Or would you prefer the hot fudge sauna?

Stephanie started laughing.

Hmm,

I think I'd like to go down the chocolate ice cream sled ride first,

Please.

Good choice.

Prince Frost said,

Well,

But most of it was just awesome.

And then when they got all the way down to the bottom,

She noticed that Luna was flying with Crystal on her back,

Down to the bottom to join them.

When they landed,

Stephanie said,

That was amazing!

Prince Frost said,

Right then,

Come on,

It's time for Slurpee Dive Pool!

They only walked about ten paces,

And there was a bright red hole.

It was about maybe twelve feet round.

It was Slurpee.

It looked like the top of a cup of Slurpee.

But the whole point was you were supposed to dive in it because it was a dive pool.

Stephanie looked a little bit worried and looked at Luna and said,

Isn't it cold?

Prince Frost said,

Oh,

You can do it!

It's amazing once you're in.

It feels so electrifying.

You feel so fresh and alive and just full of energy.

Come on,

Let's do it!

Again,

He was super excited.

Plop!

He just dove straight in.

Here we go then,

Said Stephanie.

He did a cannonball and just dived straight in the middle to where Prince Frost was.

He started laughing.

You're so cool,

Stephanie.

You should definitely come here more often.

It was freezing.

The lips went blue and her teeth started chattering.

But he was right.

Once you got used to the temperature,

It was like taking an ice bath or something.

She could feel all her body coming alive.

It was so cold but so refreshing.

She felt like she was turning into some kind of Slurpee ice monster.

After a while,

She couldn't take it anymore and she said,

That's it!

I'm done!

I'm so cold!

She climbed out and she noticed the Slurpee because it was strawberry flavor.

It stained her entire body.

She looked pink like a lobster.

That was pretty darn funny too,

She thought.

Prince Frost climbed out also.

The Snow Princess,

Crystal,

Said,

Maybe you should take her in the sauna.

Nothing like a hot fudge sauna after that.

I can't come in.

My dress will melt.

Good idea,

Said Prince Frost.

Follow me,

Stephanie.

He ran ahead and Stephanie followed until they came to what looked like a wooden box.

He opened the door and ran inside.

Come on,

Hurry up.

All the heat's getting out.

She ran in after him and he closed the door behind her.

And that's when she realized the entire sauna,

The walls,

The floor,

The benches,

Everything was just hot fudge sundae in places.

Like lava.

Like it was so hot.

Oh,

But it felt so good on her cold toes.

It's delicious as well,

Said Prince Frost.

He dipped his hand in a bucket that was full of it and slurped it all over his face.

Stephanie tried it too.

It was delicious.

She sat down and it felt like she was sitting in a pool of melted chocolate.

Warm,

Silky,

And soft.

But also very gooey and sticky.

Hmm.

Oh,

You get used to it,

He said.

Try swimming in it.

He dived down on the floor and started to pretend as if he was doing breaststroke swimming on his tummy.

He couldn't actually swim in it.

He looked like he was just floating on top of it,

To be honest,

But he was slipping and sliding all over the place and it was really funny.

Stephanie said,

I think I'll pass.

They stayed in there for ten minutes.

She was so happy.

And then when she came outside,

The snow princess,

Crystal,

Said,

Maybe you would like a shower.

There's one right there.

And she pointed to a shower that was next to the wooden cabin that was the hot Fudge Sunday sauna.

She walked over and just pulled a chain and warm water came out and washed all the chocolate off her skin.

And then Luna passed her a blanket that she was holding there in her teeth for a while.

That was so much fun,

Said Stephanie.

Please remind me,

Luna,

To come back every time it snows.

Oh,

I will,

She said.

But for now,

It's time to go.

She motioned with her head as if it was time for Stephanie to get back on her back.

Stephanie said goodbye to Prince Frost and Crystal,

The snow princess.

And then just like that,

Luna was off and flying once again.

Stephanie waved as she was flying higher and higher.

And they were getting smaller and smaller down below.

And then just like that,

She opened her eyes and she was laying on her bed,

Back in her bedroom,

Back home once again,

With the sweltering heat.

She smiled the biggest smile and then closed her eyes and fell fast asleep.
