Miley The Naughty Unicorn

Miley the Unicorn is not really naughty. None of us are really naughty. Miley has just been labeled naughty because she has been miss-behaving to get attention and love. Maybe this is you? Maybe you need help changing your mind and behavior about who you are and who you want to be?

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Lay down my little friend,

Let's get comfortable in bed.

Get all snuggly with your teddy if you need to.

Make sure you're wearing your comfortable pajamas and everything is just right in your room.

This is your time to relax your mind,

Relax your body and let go of your busy day.

If you had a good day,

It's time to calm down,

Chill out,

Relax.

If you had a bad day,

It's time to let all of that go.

No more thinking about it.

Just listen to the story,

Allow yourself to meditate.

The story is about a girl,

A unicorn girl called Miley.

Miley had a little brother.

He was called Bo.

Bo,

The unicorn,

Was awesome.

Bo was kind,

Bo was sweet,

Bo was never ever ever in trouble.

Bo never did anything wrong.

Bo,

As far as Miley was concerned,

Was his parents favorite.

Bo was just perfect.

He was good at magic,

He was good at flying,

He was good at math,

Even math.

Bo made Miley very mad.

Miley,

On the other hand,

Was her own special sweet individual self but she always seemed to be in trouble.

She definitely wasn't good at math,

Let's put it that way,

But you don't have to be good at math to be a good person,

She thought.

She tried to be good,

She tried to do exactly what her brother Bo did but what would happen with Miley was she'd say something wrong or she'd do something at the wrong time or she was too loud when she did it or it was inappropriate timing when she did it or it wasn't the right moment or something was always wrong.

Because of that poor Miley,

The unicorn,

Decided that the only way she seemed to get attention was if she was bad.

Miley found that if she was bad and didn't even try to be good because there's no point because of her perfect brother right?

Then she at least got noticed.

Her mom and dad noticed her even though she was being bad and it wasn't good attention,

It was bad attention.

Seemed like for Miley she was stuck in this loop where she behaved bad,

Got bad attention,

Everybody just assumed she was bad so she had to behave bad and then she got bad attention and then everybody just said oh Miley's always in trouble,

Miley's not a good girl,

Miley's always bad,

Miley always does everything wrong and it didn't take very long before that became exactly what Miley was.

It was like she did a few things wrong,

She couldn't get out of the cycle and now she's known as Miley the bad one whereas Bo is the good one.

Miley's always in trouble,

Bo is just a dream to be around,

Miley's always always getting in trouble at school,

Bo is the perfect A student,

Miley has no friends,

Bo has thousands of friends.

Now you might be able to relate,

Hopefully you haven't found yourself in a loop like Miley where the only attention she seems to get is bad negative attention.

Miley didn't want to be bad,

She wanted to be good like her brother,

She wanted to be seen,

She wanted to be loved,

She wanted her mom and dad to love her just as much as they loved her brother.

What Miley didn't realize was her mom and dad loved her just as much as they loved Bo,

It was just that they were having problems and the only way that things would change is if they somehow break the cycle.

As if somehow Miley could see how awesome she was,

She didn't have to be bad to be seen,

She could just be awesome.

Miley was good at so many things but she'd found herself in this trap where all she ever did was the wrong thing.

Miley was really artistic and she had a wonderful voice but she hardly ever sang and she hardly ever drew or painted or created stuff.

She seemed to just get stuck in being the bad unicorn.

I mean how many bad unicorns do you know?

Not many,

Most unicorns are good just like Bo with magic and rainbows and all the wonderful stuff.

You never hear about a bad unicorn so the fact that Miley would get in trouble made it even more dramatic in the unicorn community.

How dare we have a bad unicorn?

What shall we do with this naughty unicorn?

She's so naughty they would all say to themselves.

Really only Miley was just wanting some love,

She wanted to be seen and liked and appreciated.

She didn't want to be bad Miley.

She decided one day that maybe if she did something good in the community she could climb away out of this hole that she got herself in.

Even though she was angry at her parents and angry at everybody in the community and angry angry angrier at her brother,

She decided that there was no point in being angry,

Wasn't getting her anywhere and she was tired of negative attention.

One night at dinner Miley suggested to her parents that it might be a good idea if the whole community come together to have some kind of art competition.

Whatever people were good at.

Some unicorns could paint,

Some could sing,

Some unicorns could dance,

Some unicorns could make things out to play dough and build stuff.

There were some really smart unicorns like her brother could show everyone how to do math problems.

That's creative,

That could be part of a competition she said to her parents.

Her parents happened to think it was a really good idea.

After a couple of weeks of organizing the art competition,

The creative competition in the community,

One weekend on a bright sunny Saturday day everyone came out of their homes and brought out their projects,

Their talents,

Their knowledge,

Whatever it was.

One by one each one of them did something unique.

Even if they all sang,

Each one of them sounded unique because they only had their own voice,

Their own way of doing it.

Not one single unicorn was the same.

Miley sang a song in front of all of the community.

When she finished everyone clapped their hooves.

She didn't know what to do with herself.

She felt warm and fuzzy inside and embarrassed.

She was embarrassed that everyone was clapping for her but also at the same time it was so nice.

It was so nice to not be in trouble.

It was so nice to be seen as Miley the singing unicorn instead of Miley the naughty unicorn,

The troublesome unicorn.

Miley was getting positive attention for something that she was good at and this made her feel so much more better about herself and because she felt better about herself and she wasn't angry anymore she didn't feel the need to be naughty anymore.

People were just seeing her for who she was.

From that day forward sometimes she would make mistakes and sometimes she would still get into trouble but it got less and less and less.

Miley became more and more and more who she really wanted to be.

The most important thing was her mom and dad,

Her brother and herself weren't stuck in that awful loop anymore.

She didn't have to carry on being naughty.

Her brother didn't have to carry on just being the perfect one.

In fact the more that she became more normal and less angry and less naughty the more she noticed her brother also made mistakes and her brother also had problems and her brother also needed love and attention from mom and dad.

He wasn't so perfect after all.

Now if this story sounds like you whether you're Miley or Bo how about you try something different?

Maybe everything will stay the same but if you keep trying things may eventually change.

Things will eventually get better.

You don't have to be the same person stuck in the same old ways.

You can change things right now in your mind so that when you wake up tomorrow it's a whole new day.

A whole new world.

Just like Miley had a whole new world.

A world where she was so much happier.

I don’t do the Heidi, Cherry, and Vaya ones because there not very relaxing cause Cherry talks really loud and crazy! I wish it was like this one and more relaxing.
