Are you ready to meditate with Kari?
To lay down and be still and quiet and relax your body?
Let go of your day so far?
It's time to just be still.
Orly and Leah couldn't sleep without Kari.
They got so used to listening to the stories and their meditations at night time that it was really,
Really difficult to not go to sleep without Kari.
Orly and Leah loved it when Kari did really relaxing,
Calming,
Soothing meditations.
Just like this one.
Close your eyes and take a nice big deep breath.
See if you can breathe all the way down to your toes.
And wiggle your toes,
Feel your feet,
Then see if you can let your feet get really,
Really heavy and sleepy and relaxed.
Relax your legs.
Use your imagination and imagine that you've been walking up a hill,
A big,
Steep hill all day long,
Trekking to the top of this hill.
Up over the grass and the rocks,
Going higher and higher until you finally got to the top of the hill.
You sat down and looked at the view and the sky and then you had to come all the way back down again.
Imagine your legs are that tired.
Allow the muscles in your legs to get really,
Really comfortable.
Really,
Really heavy.
Just breathe into your legs and imagine that they're so,
So heavy that you could probably not lift them up even if you tried.
That's how relaxed they are right now.
Relax your hips and your lower back.
Imagine that your hips are so tired because you've been swimming for hours and hours and hours,
Swimming through a lake,
A lake as clear as tap water.
And you could see all the stones and the reefs and the fish down below.
And in this lake,
There's frogs and tadpoles.
And you're swimming along with the turtles and the frogs,
And you've been swimming for so,
So long.
Your arms are tired and your hips are tired and your back's tired.
Imagine that.
And imagine that now that you're laying in bed,
You can just let your hips and your lower back.
Get really,
Really heavy and sleepy.
Relax your tummy.
Imagine that your tummy's being tense all day.
Maybe you've been stressed or you've been a little bit angry.
And all your tummy has been tight and stressed.
And now it's time to just breathe into your tummy and allow it to soften and be still and calm.
Imagine it's really,
Really relaxed.
Relax your chest muscles and your lungs and your heart.
You know what it feels like when you've been running really fast,
Running and running and running,
And you're so tired and you've been running and running and running and you've just kept running.
And your heart is hurting because it's going so fast and your lungs are burning and everything is hot and sweaty.
And you're running and running and running.
Imagine you've been doing that all day long.
And now you can just stop and be still.
And your heart is nice and calm.
And your lungs are calm.
Your chest can relax and stop moving so fast.
Everything is slow and peaceful.
Relax your shoulders.
Allow your shoulders to get really heavy.
Imagine you've been carrying your backpack and it's got lots of books in and your lunch and your drink and your pencil case.
And it's been really,
Really heavy all day long.
Your shoulders hurt and they burn where the straps have been because it's so,
So heavy.
Imagine now that you can just completely relax your shoulders.
You can let them just fall deep into the bed,
Relaxing them away from your neck and your ears.
They're so,
So heavy and sleepy and relaxed.
Relax your neck and the back of your head.
Your head is always heavy and you carry it around with you all day long.
Imagine now that you can just allow your head to get really,
Really heavy into your pillow.
Allowing it to just completely relax and let go.
So your neck can relax and let go.
Everything is comfortable.
Your face is soft and relaxed.
Your eyes are relaxed.
Your cheeks,
Your jaw.
Your entire body is comfortable and relaxed.
And super,
Super sleepy.
Leah and Ollie are very,
Very sleepy.
You might be very,
Very sleepy just like them.
Ready to go to sleep.
Ready to have sweet dreams.
And let go of your day.
