Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

Are you ready to be very,

Very still?

Can you be still?

Can you lay completely still?

As still as a statue?

Where you're so quiet,

You don't twitch your nose,

You don't blink,

You don't move your toes,

You don't do anything.

See if you can do it while you listen to the story.

Heidi,

Cherry and Vea were having a very fun bath time.

It was bath time and they were having a bath with their two friends,

Daphne and Lita.

It was fun because they were all pretending to be monsters.

The bath was absolutely full of bubbles and Cherry kept pretending to be Father Christmas.

She kept putting the bubbles on her chin and saying Ho Ho Ho,

Merry Christmas,

Merry Christmas.

Lita thought that was very funny.

Lita was only three so everything was funny.

Daphne was six.

She wanted to be a mermaid.

What was cool about bath time with her friends was every one of them,

Every one of them had a really good imagination.

Daphne said she was turning into a mermaid as they speaked.

Her feet were flipping around in the bathtub and when everybody looked at her feet,

They weren't feet anymore.

They were actually a mermaid's tail.

And then all of a sudden,

Cherry said,

OMG,

OMG,

Daphne,

I actually can see you as a mermaid.

Is it real?

Is it real or is it me?

Is it me and my imagination?

Because I've got so good with it,

So good that I can make things real or I can make them not real.

Sometimes I don't even know what's real anymore.

I think you look so real as a mermaid right now.

I can totally see you.

She closed her eyes.

I can see you in my mind.

You've got like a rainbow,

Like mermaid tail and it's all different colours and it's glistening through the water and I can see you swimming under the water and you're swimming so deep and you're swimming with dolphins.

Daphne said,

I am.

I am.

I'm swimming with dolphins.

Cherry said,

I knew it.

I knew it.

We're so connected.

Can you see me?

Can you see me?

Cherry went,

ROAR!

She burst out through the bubbles in the bathtub.

She stood up and all the bubbles were on her paws.

They were on her head.

They were on her ears.

They were on her chest and she looked like a giant bubble monster.

She said,

I'm the Kraken.

I'm the Kraken.

I'm the undersea god.

Lita didn't like this very much.

She looked a little bit frightened at first and then Cherry wiped the bubbles off her head and her face and she said,

It's only me,

Lita.

It's only me.

Don't worry.

And then Lita was totally fine.

Everyone pretended,

But it felt very real that Cherry was the Kraken.

She was an undersea monster.

I'm coming to get you.

I'm going to cover you in bubbles and make you the cleanest,

Cleanest you've ever been.

Vea said,

Me,

Oh no,

Please Kraken,

Please don't make me clean.

Daphne thought this was really funny.

In her mind,

She swam away.

She did a big deep,

Deep dive into the ocean and started to swim with the fish in the coral reefs.

They were so pretty.

They were all rainbow colored.

There was yellow and green and orange and blue.

And down there in the coral,

She bumped into an old friend of hers.

Lita.

Lita was a guppy fish.

Lita was making fish noises in the bathtub.

She was pretending to be a fish monster.

Cherry said,

I'm not frightened of you.

I'm the Kraken.

Heidi was a bookworm.

That was her chosen monster.

And she was slithering around,

Slithering and slothering and moving like a worm in the bathtub.

She'd still got her glasses on and they were covered in bubbles and she could barely see anything.

But she was having fun.

She swam over to where Lita was and she snuggled around her and said,

I'm a bookworm.

I'm coming to read you one of my bestest worm stories.

Lita looked at her and said.

Then all of a sudden they were all underneath the ocean.

They all dived under the bubbles and they were all in their worlds.

Veya was a frog princess.

She was reverting and reverting and diving through the ocean,

Waiting to find her prince.

Some other random frog out there that was going to give her a big smacking kiss.

And then she would turn into a real princess.

Lita was still making her fish noises.

Veya said,

Maybe you could be my frog.

Lita swam away.

And then they all decided to follow Daphne,

The mermaid.

Daphne took them down deep into the depths of the ocean.

There was a whole mermaid world down there.

There were mer-men and mer-girls and mer-women and mer-boys.

There were mer-dogs and mer-cats and mer-fish.

There were mer-octopuses and mer-whales.

There was mer-everything.

There was even a mer-supermarket.

The mer-supermarket doors opened and everyone swam inside.

Cherry said,

OMG!

Who'd have thought there would be a supermarket at the bottom of the ocean?

This is absolutely amazing.

This is like the bestest place to go shopping.

How come no one knows about this?

You know,

I'm a kraken.

Rawr!

She pretended to be a monster again.

And I like supermarkets.

I think they're like the bestest place to go.

Let's look and see what kind of mer- mer-people go shopping in a supermarket down at the bottom of the ocean.

There were mer-people everywhere.

There were mer-cats shopping,

Mer-dogs shopping.

Everyone was shopping in there and it looked like they were all buying fish treats of some kind or another,

Which made Leta very happy.

She was just swimming around looking at all the different things on the shelves.

She found some very interesting looking fish gummies,

Like gummy bears but for fishers.

She said to everyone and everyone agreed that gummy bears but made for fish would probably be very yummy.

They all grabbed a packet off the shelf and carried on swimming around.

Then they found fish Gatorade,

Which was like a sports drink and they all decided to have a taste.

Cherry said,

I wonder if it tastes different from regular Gatorade or whether it's exactly the same because you know,

Do fish need like different electrolytes than people or do they like just do the same as people?

I wonder,

Let's all have a drink and see if it makes us feel like more like fishers,

You know,

Because I bet it does,

Right?

Because I bet it's made and formulated for fish.

What do you think,

Heidi?

Heidi said,

I'm sure it is formulated exactly to help fish be more athletic.

That's my point,

Said Cherry.

I bet that's exactly what this is.

Everybody had a drink of fish Gatorade and they guzzled and guzzled and guzzled and then they all realised after they drank the fish Gatorade that they were very energised.

That made them all swim a lot faster.

They were swimming super fast.

Even Princess Frog,

Veya,

She was even swimming super,

Super fast.

Everyone was swimming super,

Super fast around the supermarket.

They were swimming so fast around the supermarket that the security guard chucked them out.

Too fast.

You're not allowed to swim that fast in here.

You'll knock things over on the shelves.

They all got chucked out of the supermarket and they were swimming so fast,

So fast that they missed an entire underwater shipwreck ship and then some of their energy wore off and Daphne turned everybody around back to the shipwreck.

The shipwreck was fascinating.

It was a giant,

Giant cruise ship.

They were all swimming through the different rooms.

There was still furniture in the rooms.

There were broken plates,

Tables,

Things were floating around the rooms that still had ceilings just bobbing around in the water.

Cherry even found a teapot at one point.

I wonder if I can take this back or should we leave it?

Is it like sacred land?

You know like you're not supposed to take anything from the land.

You know like some people believe that.

Like you go to certain places and you're not supposed to pick like flowers or like certain trees or things like that.

You have to keep them because they're like protected and I wonder if this teapot's protected or whether I can actually take it.

No one will notice.

Daphne said,

Leave the teapot.

It's a mer teapot.

It won't even be real when we get back up above the bubbles.

Oh,

Said Cherry.

Good point,

Daph.

Good point.

They found all sorts of cool things.

At one point,

Vea found a treasure chest in one of the rooms,

Hidden under a bunch of old planks of wood and all different things.

You would have never seen it but she managed to see it.

They opened the treasure chest and inside were some very interesting objects.

There were golden plates,

Golden cups,

Chalices.

There were golden spoons and knives and forks.

It was definitely a treasure chest.

Heidi said,

Wow,

This is so cool.

I wonder who it belongs to.

Cherry said,

It belongs to us.

I know we're not supposed to take anything but can you imagine if we take these treasures back home,

What we could buy?

We could sell them.

We could sell them to like a museum or something and we could buy,

We could be so rich.

We could be so rich.

Girls,

Don't you want to be rich?

Daphne said no.

Leta just went and made her fish noises.

She didn't want to be rich either.

Oh,

Come on,

Girls.

Come on.

We'd be so rich.

We could be famous.

We could be so rich.

We could be famous.

We could start our own YouTube channel and we could like,

You know,

Put so much money into production.

We could make like fantasy stories because of our great imaginations.

We could make like weekly videos where we tell stories and we're live and we could have like a camera crew and lights and action.

We could do all that stuff.

It could be so cool.

It could be so cool and we'd be so famous.

We'd be so famous.

We'd have so many like people on Instagram that follow us and so many people on like Snapchat and everything else.

We'd be like,

We'd be like billionaires.

Come on,

Let's take it.

Let's take it.

Daphne once again reminded Cherry that anything above the bubbles was not real.

God darn it.

All right,

Said Cherry.

She swam away from the treasure chest as it was very depressing that she couldn't take it.

After a while,

Each one of them got tired of swimming,

Got tired of using their imaginations and ended up popping up back above the bubbles in the bathtub.

The girls' fingers were all wrinkled.

They'd been in there way too long and the water got cold.

The cat's paws were all wrinkled.

Vea was shivering a little bit.

Me,

Me,

Me's ready to get out and put my PJs on.

Everyone agreed that that was a good idea.

They all got into their PJs.

The girls got all dry and warm in their PJs.

They snuggled up on Daphne and Lita's bed and Lita decided she wanted to tell them a story.

Cherry said,

Lita,

That's really sweet.

It's really nice.

It's really nice.

And it's a really nice story,

But I don't understand a word you're saying.

Vea said,

Just pretend,

Cherry,

Just pretend.

Heidi said,

I understand her.

I know exactly what she's saying.

She's telling us a story about a fish,

A guppy fish that lived at the bottom of the ocean.

Aren't you,

Lita?

Lita looked at Heidi and said,

She nodded her head,

Basically saying yes at the same time of going.

She was a very good guppy fish.

Everyone laid and listened to her guppy noises for quite some time.

It was actually very relaxing.

It was like monotone.

After a while,

Cherry actually could hear her telling a story.

She thought she was going a little bit crazy,

But no,

She could hear her telling a story.

It was a very good story,

She thought,

And she closed her eyes.

And when she closed her eyes,

She really,

Really could hear her telling her story.

She was off again at the bottom of the ocean,

Having adventures with all the merpeople and the fish and the whales and the dolphins,

The octopuses,

The coral reef.

Everything was so nice,

So relaxing.

She was so comfortable.

Everyone fell asleep,

Listening to the relaxing noises of Lita,

The little guppy.
