Heidi, Cherry & Vaya - Pizza Night (Children's Meditation Story)

Heidi, Cherry, and Vaya are making Vegan pizza with their friends, Gwynneth, Bethany, and Beatrice. They have lots of fun and then come home to relax and fall asleep! This story may be funny but it does slow down and get relaxing at the end.

Transcript

Are you ready to meditate with Kari?

See if you can lay down and be very very still in your bed.

That you're trying to be still and you're in a competition and no one can move.

They can't twitch,

They can't blink,

They can't scratch their nose,

They can't do anything.

You have to stay that still.

Relax your body.

Let go of your day.

It's time to do a meditation story.

So this story might get silly because it's Heidi and Cherry and Veja.

But we'll make sure that we relax at the end.

Get all snuggly and warm inside.

Ready for bed so we can sleep.

Heidi,

Cherry and Veja were hanging out at their friend's house.

They were going to have a pizza night.

They were very excited because they'd been busy all day playing,

Doing things outside,

Running around,

Having lots of fun,

Playing on the grass,

Playing in the fresh air.

Just being outside in nature had made them very very very hungry.

They couldn't wait for pizza.

Their friends were sisters,

Gwyneth,

Bethany and Beatrice.

They happened to be very good at making pizza.

Particularly vegan pizza.

Because the cats weren't that used to being vegan,

They needed help.

With all the doughs rolled out and ready,

They were making four pizzas.

Cherry wasn't very excited about the salad.

I'm trying,

She said.

I'm really trying guys.

I'm trying really hard to get into these salads.

I know you can make a nice salad but when you say what you're having for dinner and someone goes salad you go oh great that sounds really boring.

It does though doesn't it?

It sounds so boring.

I mean like salad.

What do you do with salad?

I know,

I know.

Because we've been practicing making different dressings and it's really nice to cook like roasted vegetables and have your roasted vegetables on your salad.

And sometimes it's nice to have like beans and rice and stuff on your salad.

It sounds weird but it's really nice.

And sometimes it's nice to have like,

Sounds even weirder,

Things like strawberries on your salad but it's not,

It's really yummy.

Especially if you make,

What's that dressing Heidi?

What's that dressing that we really like?

Heidi said,

Oh the balsamic vinegar one with the strawberries.

Yeah that balsamic vinegar one with the strawberries.

It's really nice and yummy.

Especially if you have like those,

What are those nuts?

What's them nuts that we like Faya?

Faya said,

Roasted pecans.

Yeah that's it said Cherry.

Roasted pecans.

They're so nice on a salad.

Who'd have thunk it?

Anyway yeah,

So girls how are we going to make these vegan pizzas?

I mean is it even possible because you know I thought that most of this stuff on a pizza was like not vegan at all right?

Beatrice said,

I'm going to make a cheese pizza.

Cherry said,

Now wait a minute Beatrice.

Don't you remember you can't eat cheese when you're vegan because that's not,

That's not vegan.

Beatrice said,

This is vegan cheese.

Faya said,

Mmm awesome.

Me likes the sound of that.

Bethany said,

I'm going to make a cheese and pepperoni pizza.

Cherry said,

OMG.

I mean it's pretty obvious the pepperoni is not vegan.

What are you thinking Bethany?

Bethany said,

You can get vegan pepperoni.

What?

Said Cherry,

This is just ridiculous.

Awesome.

I love it.

Yeah,

Yeah and then what?

What else we're going to do?

Gwyneth said that they were going to make two other pizzas.

And they were going to put like roasted peppers and tomatoes and olives and onions and all of that good stuff on the other two.

I hate to say it said Cherry,

But these pizzas are sounding absolutely delicious.

Right,

Let's get to it.

All the cats lined up,

The girls lined up and everybody got to work putting the toppings on top of the pizzas.

And then because Gwyneth was the oldest,

She put the pizzas into a really,

Really hot oven.

It didn't take very long for the pizzas to cook.

And when they came out of the oven,

They looked perfect.

They let them stand so they didn't burn their mouths on them before they all tucked into pizza and salad.

Heidi said,

Everything is delicious.

Good job.

Cherry said,

Thanks.

Even though Heidi was saying good job to the girls because they were the ones that really knew what they were doing here.

Thank goodness.

Cherry of course thought she was talking about her.

Thanks.

Yeah,

Thanks.

I'm getting really good at this vegan stuff.

Yeah,

I think I know exactly what to do now.

Thanks girls for showing us and introducing us to the fact that you can get vegan pepperoni.

Who'da thunk it?

And the fact that you can do vegan cheese and this vegan cheese,

By the way,

Doesn't taste very much like regular cheese.

I must admit,

I'm going to be really,

Really honest.

I don't know whether it's because you just get used to one particular thing and then when someone tries to give you something else,

You're like,

Uh-uh.

That's not what it normally tastes like.

I'm in that stage.

I'm in that stage where I'm trans.

.

.

What's it called?

Yeah,

I'm transitioning.

I'm transitioning from cheese to not really cheese that they say is cheese.

But yeah,

I'll get there.

I think I'll get there.

The problem is it doesn't have the same kind of texture and it's not really like gooey and stringy as much.

I think it's just because it's a bit slimy.

Yeah,

That's it.

But this pepperoni,

This pepperoni on the other hand,

Tastes exactly like real pepperoni.

I would have never known.

I would have never known if you could have been a cheese and a pepperoni pizza,

A normal one,

You know,

Like a normal one.

If you would have given me that and then you'd have put fake pepperoni on it or something,

I would have been like,

This is the bestest cheese and pepperoni pizza I've ever had.

It's absolutely amazing.

That's what I feel like about vegan pepperoni.

Which is awesome really,

Isn't it?

Because,

You know,

Nobody has to get hurt to have pepperoni on your pizza.

You can just like have fake pepperoni.

It's fake,

Isn't it?

That's what you say.

Do you say it's fake or do you say it's,

Do you say it's,

I don't know what you say.

Do you just say it's vegan or do you say it's like not real?

It's not real pepperoni on your pizza.

It's pepperoni,

But it's not real.

I'm going to have to get,

I'm going to have to work on my language girls.

It's very difficult to talk about being vegan,

You know,

Because everybody thinks you're a bit strange,

Don't they?

A little bit.

You know,

Don't you think?

I've come into it where I've decided,

Yeah,

I think everybody thinks I'm a little bit strange.

And then you have to start to explain yourself and who wants to have to explain themselves?

I mean,

That's not really fair,

Is it?

You know,

Like when someone eats meat,

You don't go,

Oh,

Tell me all about it.

Do you?

You just go,

Oh,

OK.

Whereas when you say you're vegan,

Everybody goes,

Oh,

What's that?

Tell me all about it.

It's like it's from another planet or something.

Vegans are motions from another planet.

Everyone started to laugh.

The girls said,

Maybe we should just pretend that we're aliens from another planet.

That would be fun.

The cats said,

Yeah,

Let's just do that.

They finished their meal.

Everyone cleaned up the kitchen.

They washed the dishes together.

And then they all took a drink of water into the living room and sat down to just be together.

They decided they were going to have a game night.

They were going to play cards and dominoes and monopoly and drafts and whatever else they wanted to play.

They just hung out and enjoyed each other's company for a really long time until it got quite late.

It was time for the cats to go home.

The girls said goodbye and they went up to bed.

Beatrice went to sleep first and then Bethany and then finally Gwyneth.

The cats all snuggled and cuggled on the big,

Soft,

Comfy bed when they got home.

They all had super full tummies.

They laid down and relaxed and closed their eyes.

Let the day go by and just focused on breathing and relaxing their paws,

Relaxing their legs,

Relaxing their tummies,

Their ribs,

Their backs.

They relaxed their tails,

Their ears,

Their noses.

Even the whiskers got relaxed and sleepy.

And then they fell fast asleep and had sweet,

Sweet pizza dreams.

Just so everyone knows!! Animals do NOT have to be hurt to get dairy products… also even if ur not vegan u can still be just as healthy
and if ur not eating healthy than u don’t have to become vegan don’t get me wrong vegans are good, but yeah u don’t have to go vegan to be healthier! 🌱 🍕

This was ridonkulous (I did not spell that right) I was cracking up laughing every time cherry spoke that when It finished I had to put on Heidi cherry and vaya: cherry wake up. It was still five Million stars though. 👍🤣😂🍕
