Heidi, Cherry & Vaya - Alphabet Sleep - Children's Meditation Story

Heidi, Cherry and Vaya are in bed and Cherry is having trouble falling to sleep, so they play the Alphabet Game. They have to think of something nice to say about each other starting with each letter in the alphabet. It's funny and relaxing at the same time, and of course, it always has some hidden good life advice!

Are you ready to meditate with Kari? Get all comfortable and snuggly in your bed. Make sure that everything is just right in your room. Maybe take a big deep breath and let go of your day. Take a nice big sigh so that you can relax. Heidi, Cherry and Veir were all snuggled up on their cat bed. It had a very busy day. They'd been going and going and going and going and going. Cherry couldn't sleep because she got too much on her mind and she was thinking about all sorts of stuff. Cherry said to Heidi and Veir, I need something. I need something that's going to put me to sleep. Something different. I've tried all sorts tonight and nothing's working. I just can't sleep. I need something that we can do that's going to make me think that but that's also going to make me tired, That's also nice, That's also fun, That's also happy, That's not going to make me have bad dreams, That's also going to make me feel nice and safe, That's also going to make me feel loved. I just don't know. I just need something. Do you have any ideas? Heidi, Do you have any ideas? Heidi said, I do actually. I know what we can do. We can do the alphabet game. What's the alphabet game? Said Cherry. Veir said, Is it that one where you say a letter and then you have to think of like fruit, A fruit beginning with A or a name beginning with A or is it that one? Heidi said, No, This is different. We have to use the letters of the alphabet to say something nice about each other. We don't have to take turns because that could get complicated. If you think of a word for whatever letter we're on, Then you can just say it. How about that? Everybody agreed and Heidi started. I'm going to start with A. You guys are amazing. Do you get me? Amazing starts with A. Right, Said Cherry. Get it, Get it, We get it, We get it, We get it. We know you're smart, Heidi, But you know, We're smart too, Aren't we, Veir? Veir nodded. Right. Okay, I get it. B. Did you know that you're so bubbly? Bubbly, Bubbly. You're so bubbly and brave. You're so bubbly, Funny and brave. Do you see that? I got two. Bubbly and brave. Did you see it? Did you see it? Everybody nodded. They got it. They got to C and Veir said, You're so caring. You are so caring. She looked at both of them when she said it. D. Oh, You're so daring. You're so daring. Caring, Caring, Daring. D for daring. You are so daring. You two, You are. You're so daring. Because along we're brave, Don't we? You're so daring and you're so brave. E. Heidi said, You are exactly how you're supposed to be. Oh, Said Cherry, That's nice. F. Fantastical. Heidi said, Is that a word? Cherry said, It is now. Fantastical. You're so fantastical. Veir said, I like that. G. Glorious. Blurted out Cherry. Glorious. I love that word. It sounds like Gloria, But it's not. Glorious. Sounds like you want to dance. You know when you do those dances where, What is it where they wear those really big fluffy long skirts and they wear flowers in their hair. Is it like the Flamenco or something? Glorious. You can just imagine Flamenco dancers dancing like that, Don't you? That word. They dance like that word. Glorious. Glorious. Like swishing the skirts around. Anyway, Yeah. Glorious. You two are so glorious. H. Happy. Said Veir. Happy, Happy, Happy. And. Handsome. Like princes. I. Heidi said, Independent. That's what we are. We're very independent. Cherry said, Oh yes we are. Oh yes we are. Well, We do rely on each other, But we do. We are very independent. Yes, Berry. G. Just kidding. Said Cherry. Just kidding. Do you get it? Do you get it? I'm just kidding. That belongs with J. Yes, Said Heidi. But it's not, Is it? Okay then, Okay then. How about jiggly? Like our bellies. I like being jiggly. I like having a jiggly belly. It's nice to have a nice soft belly. It's nice because when you lay on each other, You can put your head on your belly and it jiggles. And it feels really soft like a pillow. Who wants to have a six pack all the time? Well, We know Lincoln did, Didn't we? But you know what? You know, It's not really a good idea to have that much of a six pack because your head hurts when you put your belly on someone with a six pack. It's like putting your belly on a bunch of rocks. Who wants to do that? I say we jiggle. Jiggle. J for jiggle. K. Very acid. Kind. I'm so kind. You're so kind, Heidi. You're so kind, Cherry. L. Larius. Did you get it? So hilarious. Heidi said, Cherry, Hilarious is H, Not L. Larius. Yeah, But you know what I mean, Didn't you? You did think it was funny though, Didn't you? Anyway, Loving, Loving, Loving. We're so loving, Aren't we? We are. We love each other, Don't we? We love everything. We love the sky. We love the birds. We love the ocean. We love camping. We love skiing. We love scuba diving. Do we? Do we? I think we do. Yeah. We love scuba diving. We love sausages, If they're not real sausages. We love, What else do we love? We love so much stuff. We're very loving. M. Heidi said, Marvelous. Just marvelous. N. They said, Noble, Noble, Like a queen or a king. Cherry said, N. N, Not great. Just kidding, Just kidding. It's funny though, It's a no. All right then. O, Heidi said, Optimistic. We are very optimistic. We always look on the positive side of things. We try and be optimistic. I think we are very optimistic. P, Perfect, Said Cherry. We're just perfect. Sometimes we're pongy, You know, Like smelly. But yeah, No, We're perfect. Perfect. Perfect. Wish I could roll me tongue. I can't roll me tongue. I can't roll me oars. I want to be able to roll me oars and do that. But I can't. You think I can? You think I would be able to because I'm a cat and I poo? But I can't. It's very, Very annoying. Q. Queen, Said Faea. Oh, I like queens. They're always so pretty. R, Reliable, Said Heidi. You can definitely rely on us, Can't you? Cherry said, We are. We are. We're as reliable as the trees in the forest. Sturdy, Reliable. We're like rocks. We're like rocks in rock ponds. Yeah, We're like rocks. We're like, You know, We'll just be there. If you need us, We'll be there, Won't we? We're always there for each other. We're there for our friends. We're even nice to strangers. We're there for strangers. We are reliable for sure. S. Super, Super funny. We are super funny, Said Cherry. Super funny. Do you get it? Do you get it? We're super and we're funny. But I know F is funny. But super, Super. We're super awesome. We're super funny. We're super hilarious. We're super delicious. We're super, Super, Super. We are super. We should just put super in the word in front of everything that we are because we are. We are. I know I am anyway. You two are great. But super is just a little bit better, Don't you think? T, Faea said. Talented. We're very, Very talented. Too right we are, Said Cherry. You, Heidi said, Were very understanding. We are very understanding cats, Especially when you read a lot. I think when you read a lot and you read lots of books, You learn a lot and therefore you become more understanding from where different people are coming from and different opinions. We're very understanding. Cherry said, Speak for yourself, Heidi. You're very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very book smart and very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very understanding. Sometimes I get a little annoyed by other people's opinions. If I'm being totally honest, Sometimes I'm not that mature and I get annoyed by other people's opinions and what they're saying and what they're doing. And if it doesn't agree with what I'm saying and doing, Sometimes I do get a little bit angry. And I know I need to work on that because we are. You're right. We are. You're right. We were all different. And the more you understand, The more you can accept. I think I need to read more. I really do. I need to read more, Heidi, Because I need to get to that place where I can just go, That's a very nice opinion. Mine's very different, But it's a very nice opinion without wanting to poke them in the eyes. You know, You know, Do you know what I mean? V, Cherry said, Vivacious. This one's like glorious. Vivacious makes you want to dance. You're so vivacious, They said. Hmm. What does that one mean? Heidi said, It means you've got lots of guts, Like you're, You know, You've got lots of spirit here. You're shiny like a star. You're very vivacious. Oh, That's nice, Said Faea. W, Faea said, Whimsical. Whimsical and magical and like fairies and queens and princesses and princes and fairy tales and castles and all that nice stuff. It's very whimsical. Good one, Said Cherry. Very good, Faea, Very good. I'm getting very tired, By the way. How many more have we got left? Heidi said, We only have two more letters left. Oh, Good, Because this is working. It's working. I'm getting so tired. I'm like, My eyes, My eyes won't even open very much longer. They're like getting heavier and heavier and heavier and my eyelids won't open and my whiskers are flopping because they're so droopy and tired. And I'm just, Yeah, It's working. It's working, Guys. It's working. Why? Yabba dabba doo, Said Cherry. Oh, Sorry. Sorry. That's, That's what Fred Flintstone. Anyway, No, No. Yeah, But it works because it begins with Y. Yabba, Yabba, Yabba, Yellow, Yabba, Yabba. You know, You know. Yeah, It works. Don't you think? Yabba dabba doo, Faea said. Hmm. What does Yabba dabba doo mean? Heidi said. I have no idea. Z. Heidi said, Zesty. Ooh, Cherry said. I like that one. Zesty. We're very zesty, Aren't we? We are. We are like lemons and limes and oranges because they have zest, Don't they? See, I am smart. I knew I was smart. Yeah, They have zest. Zesty, Zesty, Like spicy, Like, Mmm, Like cayenne pepper. That's us. That's, Well, That's definitely me because I'm ginger. I'm red, Like cayenne pepper. Yeah, That's me. I'm zesty. I would say that Faea is more, Mmm, Whimsical. And Heidi is very s-s-s-smart. That's it. I'm done. Cherry said. I worked. I'm really, Really tired. She closed her eyes, Laid back, And started instantly snoring. Heidi and Faea turned around on the bed a couple of times and got comfortable. And then they put their heads down. They closed their eyes. They snuggled in. They started to dream. Heidi was dreaming about alphabet spaghetti. Faea was dreaming about alphabet tater tots. Cherry, Cherry was scuba diving. She was swimming with a big, Giant shark. She was telling him how a-a-a amazing he was. The end. The end. The end.
