Are you ready?
To meditate.
With Kari.
Lay down in your bed and get really,
Really comfortable.
Tonight is all about.
.
.
Relaxing and listening.
So that you can Hopefully.
Fall to sleep.
And have the sweetest,
Sweetest dreams.
First of all.
.
.
You have to get comfy in your bed.
Try not to move around and whittle too much.
Try and be still.
And quiet once you are in a position that feels really yummy.
For you.
Maybe you can snuggle with your teddy bear.
Maybe you can.
Hug on a pillow.
A soft,
Cosy blanket.
Something that makes you feel calm and safe.
And that will help you to fall asleep eventually.
The other thing that will help you to fall asleep is to take your mind.
Into a magical place.
So let's go somewhere magical.
Imagine in your mind.
That you're actually riding on a horse.
In the snow.
You're riding this beautiful,
Tall,
Elegant black horse with a long,
Black,
Shiny mane.
Keep your eyes closed and see if you can use your imagination and imagine that you're riding on this beautiful black horse.
Her name is Charcoal.
Because she's black.
And you guys are riding through these trees.
On a path.
The trees on either side of you are covered in snow.
Big,
Tall,
Bushy trees covered in snow.
And twinkle twinkle lights.
Every tree that you see on the left is covered in twinkle lights.
And every tree that you see on the right.
Is covered in these tiny little soft golden twinkle lights.
And it looks like the trees are sparkling.
Twinkling.
The moon is big up in the sky.
So the sky looks silvery and sparkly.
And the moonlight shining down on the trees and the snow on the path in front of you and charcoal,
Glitters and sparkles.
Like it has bits of silver thread through it.
Because of the snow,
Even though it's nighttime.
The forest around you and the path that you're walking on.
Looks quite bright.
The light from the moon reflecting on the snow.
It feels Special.
Enchanted.
You don't.
Have a knowing at this point where you're going on the path but charcoal She seems to know.
After a while of just clip,
Clop,
Clip,
Clop.
You start to relax your body even more.
Into charcoal's saddle.
You start to relax your body.
You notice the sound of the clip-clop.
Charcoal's hooves on the ground is quite mesmerising.
Very relaxing.
Like listening to a clock tick.
Or your heartbeat.
Baboom!
A bum.
Ba-bum.
The repetitive sound of our hooves.
Starts to send you into a daze.
Feel as if you're drifting off miles away even though you're still present.
Your mind is wandering.
Like when you're sat in the classroom and the teacher's super boring and you kind of drift off and start to daydream.
Clip.
Clop.
Blah.
Is making you daydreamy.
You don't know how long you've been on this path until you see what looks like a gingerbread house at the end of the road.
Perfect.
It has sparkles on the roof of the house,
Lights trimming every surface.
Like the most special house at Christmas time.
One of those that you see on the street and you're like,
Wow.
That's what this gingerbread house looks like.
And all the trees that are growing around it have those tiny golden twinkly lights.
You wake up a little bit out of your days.
Excited,
The charcoal is taking you to this house.
It has a fence around it and the trees in the garden are all sparkly and snowy.
It has a bench.
And a patio all around.
It's quaint.
Four windows and a door.
Two on the upper level and two windows on the lower level.
It's like the most ornate,
Perfect gingerbread house.
There's icicles coming down from the roof.
There's bushes with bright red berries in them.
Covered in snow.
All of it's very pretty and welcoming.
Chuckle stops at the gate.
And then turns her head around as if to say,
This is where I drop you off.
Imagine feeling your feet.
On the snow.
As you get off charcoal.
Crunch in.
You open the gate and walk up to the gingerbread house.
You open the door.
And go inside to find a warm Cozy.
Perfect.
Space.
Just for you.
There's a fireplace over on the left and it's crackling away.
There's a big,
Cozy-looking soft bed over on the right.
A rocking chair.
Tiny little kitchen.
A big,
Soft,
Fluffy rug in the middle of the room.
The house smells like hot chocolate.
Sweet chocolatey and vanilla-y.
Everything about the place.
You like.
On the bed there's a pair of soft.
.
.
Cozy looking pajamas.
And there's a cup on the side table with hot chocolate in it,
Steaming away with marshmallows on top.
And on the plate,
There's a couple of gingerbread cookies.
You put on the warm,
Cozy pajamas.
And underneath the pajamas,
There's a big pair of fluffy socks.
You put those on too.
And then you go and taste the hot chocolate.
It's the perfect temperature.
Like it's been waiting for you.
It's the best hot chocolate you've ever,
Ever tasted.
And you get a hot chocolate mustache.
And you don't care and you have big sips over and over.
Taking a bite of one of the gingerbread men.
Snapping off his head.
Gingerbread is perfect.
You sit down on the bed as you carry on munching away and sipping at your hot chocolate and the bed is soft and cosy.
And the big quilt on top.
Seems to puff and melt around you.
You finish your drink and your gingerbread man and decide to just lay back This bed feels like you're floating on a cloud.
It's so comfy and soft and perfect.
You instantly take a big exhale.
A big thumbs up to say oh this is just right It's not too hard,
It's not too soft,
It's just right.
Makes you smile and think about Goldilocks.
Then you close your eyes.
And within moments you start to feel as if you're floating.
Floating on this cloud.
In the gingerbread house that smells like hot chocolate and vanilla.
It's warm and cozy.
And as you float,
You imagine that you float all the way up through the ceiling.
And you find yourself floating over the trees with the twinkle twinkle lights.
Floating up,
All warm and cozy as if you're wrapped in a cocoon of love.
All snuggly and safe.
As you look down at all the snow and the lights.
You let yourself float.
Closing your eyes,
Not realizing where you're floating to.
But you can tell that you're moving.
Going up.
And dab.
Going higher and higher.
Floating through the sky.
All sleepy and cozy.
You think that maybe you could be floating over the North Pole.
Your eyes are heavy and You're so comfortable,
You don't want to have to open your eyes and move.
Your eyelids feel like lead.
So you keep them closed.
And you keep floating.
Maybe you're floating over the leaning tower of Pisa.
Maybe you're in Paris.
Once again,
It feels so nice to have your eyes closed.
To be rested.
To just be left alone and be all cozy and sleepy like this.
Your eyes feel way too heavy to try and open.
Maybe you're flying over the Empire State Building in New York Harbor.
You can't tell.
Is your eyes.
Are closed.
Maybe you're flying over the moon.
And you can see all the cheese people down below.
But your eyes are so,
So,
So heavy.
So you keep them closed.
So sleepy.
So comfortable.
Just rest.
Let your body float.
Falling deeper and deeper into a cozy,
Comfy sleep.
You're going to have the bestest,
Sweetest dreams.
Night night my sweet friend.
