Hello,
My name is Kori and welcome to this Couples Deeper Connection Meditation.
Throughout the meditation,
You will have plenty of choices.
I'll try and give alternatives to suggestions that I make so that each one of you can find a comfortable place for you to be with yourself and your partner during this practice.
The whole idea of this guided meditation is to utilize having someone to open up to,
Become more vulnerable with and connect on a much deeper,
Intimate level than what we would probably do on a day to day basis.
So to start the practice,
Sit with your partner facing you.
You can sit on the bed together,
You can sit on a yoga mat on the ground or on chairs facing each other.
If it feels right for you,
Sit crisscross across from each other very close.
You can also,
If it feels good,
Move even closer and sit with your legs over your partner.
So you're very,
Very close.
Make sure that you're comfortable.
You can hold hands and just rest them on your laps or you can rest your hands on your knees or on your own lap.
Start by taking a nice big deep breath to clear your space and your energy.
Let go of a sound,
A sigh or a moan with the intention of releasing,
Choosing to start fresh as you come together at this time.
Start to make eye contact.
At first it might feel slightly uncomfortable,
Believe it or not,
Most of the time we choose not to make very deep,
Long eye contact with other beings.
But this is someone that you hopefully trust and feel very safe with.
So make eye contact,
You can smile at first or giggle,
Whatever comes up,
But then try very hard to just look into each other's eyes and don't do anything else.
No facial gestures,
No body movements.
Just go into that vulnerable place of just staring into each other's eyes.
Try and keep your spine straight,
Allowing the energy flow to go where it needs to between you and just relax into the gaze.
To make an even deeper connection with your partner,
At this point you can connect to each other's breaths.
How you do that is,
As your partner exhales,
You mindfully inhale as if you're inhaling the exhaled breath.
And then when you exhale,
Your partner inhales your breath.
If you're sat quite close,
You'll physically feel the breath being shared between you.
If you're sat further apart,
You'll still be able to connect deeply by following the flow of the movement,
The rise and fall of each other's chests as you breathe in and breathe out.
The depth of intimacy that you can reach just by staring into each other's eyes and sharing each other's prana,
Your life force between you,
Cycling in a circle as the circle represents the union.
And the union represents the oneness of these two beings is very,
Very deep.
I'm going to ask you to stay in just this connection.
Eye gazing,
Pranic breath sharing for the next five minutes.
And I'm going to be quiet so that you can do just that.
Stay open-minded,
Stay vulnerable and stick with it.
And I'll see you in a minute.
You got it.
You you you you you you you you you now keeping a hold of your hands if you're holding hands with your partner at this point close your eyes so that you can go even deeper within yourself Close your eyes and take all of your focus and attention into the center of your chest your heart space by now your heart should be very full expanded and open but to help you to create this energy even more imagine your heart is like a deep wonderful treasure chest and right now with this next breath you're consciously opening the top of the chest revealing inside this amazing golden light so bright and beaming it's full and powerful representing the energy inside of you the love that you have for yourself and the depth of love that you have for this being that you're connecting to set across from you imagine that your golden light is coming out of your chest it's merging in the space between the two of you with your partner's golden light that's coming out of their wonderful precious treasure chest in the middle of their heart space the energy is emerging in that space between you and then coiling around each other like the Kundalini snake,
The serpent,
The coils up your spine during Kundalini these two golden energies are coiling together and then your partner's energy transfers into your space and your energy travels forward even more and transfers into their heart space you're exchanging your most precious loving aspect of yourself with this being and every time you breathe in you stoke the fire,
The light,
This golden bright light in the center of your chest you stoke it and it ignites and gets more stronger,
More vibrant,
More open to be given and transferred over to your partner and every time you breathe out you watch it travel in your mind's eye into their space,
Their sacred vessel you send it with love,
All the time you both stay very open and vulnerable and ready to receive the other's energy you send it with love,
You receive it completely openly there's no doubt,
No reservation,
No apprehension,
Just be and allow each other's energies to be fully exchanged in this moment do this practice for the next three minutes you you you you you you you please bow your heads,
Bring your hands together in prayer position,
Praise each other,
Namaste
