So coming to this place of allowing ourselves to feel.
However it is that we're feeling.
Just letting whatever the current emotion is to be as it is.
No more wrestling.
No more fighting.
No more resisting.
No more avoiding.
No more distractions.
Just raw emotion as it is.
Whichever emotion it is that you're currently feeling and perhaps struggling with.
See you.
How your experience changes.
The more you accept.
The emotion.
How does the body change?
How does the mind change?
If instead of trying to push feelings away or cover them up,
Squash them down or get away from them if we stop all of that.
And instead just allow ourselves to feel.
So if it's sadness.

Let it be sadness.
How does it feel to be sad?
If it's fair.
Let it be fair.
How does it feel in the present?
We don't fight it,
Just let it be there.
Agree.
Rage.
Shame.
Regret.
Sorrow.
Loneliness.
All of these can be intensely unpleasant.
But when they're allowed to just be here.
As they are.
As they want to be felt.
We don't suffer.
We only suffer from emotion.
When the mind gets involved.
The mind says this shouldn't be here.
The mind says,
I need to fix this.
I need to get rid of this.
Give the mind a break.
Emotion is the realm of the heart,
Not the realm of the mind.
So just let yourself feel however it is that you're feeling.
It's fine,
It's alright.
What is the rule?
Pure experience.
Of the emotion itself.
Without the mind getting involved,
Just experience this raw energy.
What are the textures?
Wants the flavour.
What's the color of this emotion?
As it's felt,
As an experience.
Without the slightest resistance.
Bring the emotions so close.
That it's not you and the emotion,
You are the emotion.
That is how integrated this experience becomes.
Unified.
Whole.
Complete.
Devour your feelings in this way.
Accept the emotion.
Not necessarily the situation.
There might be things that need to change in your life.
That's fine.
Here we're accepting the feeling.
We are accepting emotion in the present.
Even if it's uncomfortable.
Unpleasant.
Just for this time.
We're taking a break from the psychological turmoil.
The mind.

Can take a back seat.
All emotion is healthy.
Natural.
Innocent.
And all emotion already knows.
How to heal itself,
How to make itself more comfortable.
The emotion itself already knows this.
We just have to get out of the way.
Be lovingly attentive to the emotion.
By simply allowing yourself to feel it.
Let the body feel it.
And it's this loving attention.
That gives the freedom and space to the emotion.
For it to gently,
Gradually bring itself home.
To take its position.
In the inner emotional spectrum.
So don't feel like you have to force anything.
You don't have to find the correct technique or method.
For each.
Emotion.
Just love and accept them all.
And they'll figure things out for themselves.
It's alright.
It really is.
It won't feel alright.
I know,
But it's okay.
Trust that deeper part of yourself,
That instinct that knows some of this already,
That always suspected this.
Very deep intuition.
That says it is okay to feel this.
I knew it was.
I knew it.
It might be very buried,
But it's still there.
Trust it.
It can be helpful to hand the emotion over to the body.
Particularly anger and fear.
And the associated emotions.
Just see if you can hand them to the body and let the body process them.
Again,
No constriction,
No constraining.
She's gentle and subtle.
Is beginning to trust.
Your own system.
Your own instincts.
Can be uncomfortable.
An uncomfortable ride.
That's okay.
Discomfort is not suffering.
Discomfort is just discomfort.
Just trust that this is part of the natural process.
You don't have to figure this out in the mind.
The mind doesn't need to be involved here.
Don't interrupt the surgeon while the surgeon is operating.
And just let this natural process be.
You might find that motion has a quite a shifting quality to it sort of oscillate between several Let that happen too.
It's all right.
And if you compare now how you're feeling now to how you were feeling before you began this Notice the emotion might not have changed.
But the way it's being experienced has changed.
So that's where our power lies.
Not in getting rid of a feeling or changing it,
But changing our relationship to it.
You are okay.
You are safe.
You haven't done anything wrong.
And you're not in trouble.
There's nothing wrong with you.
Never has been,
Not for a single moment.
And there's nothing wrong with any of your emotions.
They're all good.
Better than good.
They're beautiful.
Powerful life energies.
As natural as sunlight,
Starlight.
Natural as forests,
Rivers.
As natural as your beating heart,
As your blood that flows,
So too,
Emotion.
It's there.
When it's free.
Okay when it's all right to just.

Exist how it wants to exist.
We find it's no longer a problem.
And we no longer suffer.
Even the really dark ones.
So I know it's a big ask.
To accept grief,
To accept fear,
To accept rage.
But they only feel dark and intolerable because of the old way of perceiving them.
Perceiving them as problems to fix.
As something that shouldn't be here and needs to change.
That's why they've been so unbearable.
But maturing into this new way of experiencing.
Just takes.
Courage.
Acceptance.
Heart and willingness.
Surrender.
To what is.
And suffering is no more,
All is well.
