In this guided meditation, we expose a subconscious belief about the mind that inadvertently fuels negative mind-states. Overthinking, rumination, and intrusive thoughts are all perpetuated by a single assumption: the belief that the mind is all-important and that every thought is crucial. Here, I invite you to examine this fundamental belief and begin to soften its edges. By realizing that thoughts are actually just another neutral element of experience—containing no inherent suffering in and of themselves—we stop perceiving our own thoughts as a threat, naturally regaining stability and clarity of mind. This track is influenced by Secular Mindfulness, Zen Buddhism, and Advaita Vedanta.
