This is Corin Hinträger.
Welcome to today's short and sweet reconnection to self body scan meditation.
Being in your body,
Aware of who you are,
On each particular day helps us to flow through life and to create our life in tune with the universe instead of getting pulled into a hundred different directions and really knowing what is actually ours and what is not.
As this just leaves us frustrated and depleted.
So let's dive into who you truly are today so you can move through your day with much more ease and flow.
Make yourself comfortable.
Sit down or lay down.
Take a few nice deep breaths in and out.
Close your eyes for a moment and take another nice deep breath in and as you exhale breathe out all of the tension and what no longer serves you and supports you at this point in time.
Now let's build an awareness of who you are today.
Take another nice deep breath in and fully exhale.
Put your focus or attention to your feet.
Notice how your feet are feeling.
Maybe wiggle your toes to build an awareness of how they feel when your toes are moving and how they feel when your toes are still.
Just building this awareness without wanting to change anything.
Just notice whatever you're noticing.
Now move your attention a bit further up to your ankle,
To your knees and to your pelvis.
Again notice whatever you notice in.
Is there any tension you're aware of?
Take a moment and breathe into it.
As you exhale you can let go of a little bit of the tension at the time.
Observe and notice the softer more relaxed you get the easier you can connect to your body.
You might even notice the softer more relaxed you get the easier you can connect to your body.
Move your attention a bit further up to your tummy,
To your belly button,
To your solar plexus and to your chest.
Take another nice deep breath and just notice how your chest feels when it fills up with oxygen and how it feels as you let go and breathe out.
Now move your attention a bit further up to your shoulders and down your arms to your elbows and to your wrists,
To your hands.
Maybe move your hands and your fingers for a moment to build this awareness of how they feel when they are still and how they feel when you move them.
Take a few more nice deep breaths in and as you let go your body relaxes more and more and the tension that is no longer serving you just melts away.
Your body relaxes more into the awareness of who you are today.
Bring your attention a bit further up again to your neck and to your throat,
To the back of your head,
To the top of your head and to your face.
Maybe move your eyes while they are still closed for a moment.
Take another nice deep breath in and just notice how it feels while you are breathing in through your nostrils and how is it when you let go and breathe out.
Maybe open and close your mouth a few times just to build this awareness of how your jaw is feeling at this point and move.
You gained precious awareness as you now know who you are today,
How you feel today and what's going on in your body.
This is helping you to reconnect to this feeling throughout the day whenever you need to.
So fully embrace the feelings you have experienced at this point in time.
Take another nice deep breath in and as you exhale start noticing or be aware of the room around you and you within it.
Slowly come back to the here and now.
This is the perfect moment to set an intention for the rest of your day.
So this day has the potential to unfold beautifully.
You are connected to your true self more fully.
Having this awareness of who you are is always helping you to reconnect with it throughout your day whenever you need it.
So anything that is no longer serving you at any point in moment you check in can just melt away and drop off from you.
As you are building the awareness of who you are at any given moment more and more this process gets quicker and it will get easier and easier.
Take another few nice conscious breaths as you move into your day with ease and flow.
