Re-Balancing Breathwork is a powerful breathwork technique designed to bring you back into the present moment, de-stress, and reduce the anxiety of the future or past. This breathwork is great if you are experiencing a lot of mind chatter, or a continued focus outside of this present moment. It is also a great practice for unwinding at the end of a long day, preparing for meditation or sleep!

Hello everybody and welcome to Rebalancing Breathwork.

My name is Ben Holt and this breathwork practice today is brought to you by Awaken Breath.

Rebalancing Breathwork is designed to bring you back into the present moment.

It's designed to bring you back into balance.

That feeling of completion.

There's nothing that you need.

You are complete in this moment.

Feeling balanced,

Aware,

Healthy,

And present.

That is the intention of Rebalancing Breathwork.

And here are the steps to this technique.

Step one is taking a deep breath in through the nose,

Filling up your belly,

Chest,

And head all the way.

So all the way in and then open the mouth and sigh it out.

Again,

All the way to the top.

You can even use your hands as leverage,

Your arms really,

As leverage with your hands on your legs,

Pushing out your chest so that you can fill up your belly all the way first and then your chest and then all the way to the top of the head.

We're going to take seven breaths just like that.

And on the seventh breath,

We're going to breathe all the way in through the nose and hold it for seven seconds.

After seven seconds,

We're going to release the breath out through the nose also for seven seconds.

After that,

We'll take a nice breath in through the nose and let it go.

And then we'll begin round two.

So I invite you to follow along with me.

Again,

Breathing super deep breaths in through your nose,

Filling up all the way,

And sighing the breath out.

And then on our seventh breath,

Fill up all the way,

Hold it for seven seconds,

And then a seven second slow controlled exhale through the nose.

Perfect.

I invite you to sit up nice and tall,

But make sure your surroundings around you are safe.

And the off chance that you do pass out,

It is possible,

But unlikely.

So I invite you to lie down if you're feeling very relaxed,

Or you're wanting a more relaxing experience.

Or sit up nice and tall if you're feeling more activated and more energetic.

All right,

Without further ado,

Let's begin.

We're going to start by taking one foundational breath,

Breathing in through the nose,

Filling up the belly,

The chest and head.

Open the mouth and sigh it out.

Ground into your seat.

And let's begin breathing in through the nose.

Perfect.

Keep going.

Last one.

Deep breath in,

Fill up all the way,

And hold the breath.

We're going to release the breath in three,

Two,

One.

Nice and slow through the nose.

Deep breath in,

And sigh it out.

Good job.

All right,

Let's get started with round two in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Deep breath in through the nose.

Sigh it out.

Let it go.

Deep breath in.

Sigh it out.

Good.

You're doing great.

Keep going.

Last one.

Deep breath in,

Fill up all the way,

Belly,

Chest and head.

Hold the breath.

We're going to release the breath through the nose in three,

Two,

One.

Slowly exhaling the breath through the nose.

Nice and slow and controlled.

Deep breath in,

And let it go.

Beautiful.

Let's begin round three in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Deep breath in,

And let it go.

Filling up all the way,

Sighing it out.

Good.

You're doing great.

Last one.

Fill up all the way.

Deep breath in,

And hold the breath.

We're going to release the breath through the nose in three,

Two,

One.

Slowly releasing the breath.

Great job,

Everyone.

We will begin round four in five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Begin.

Filling up all the way,

Letting it go.

You're doing great.

Stay with it.

Last one.

Deep breath in,

Fill up all the way.

Hold the breath.

We will release the breath through the nose in three,

Two,

One.

Nice and slow,

And let it go.

Great job,

Everyone.

You have completed rebalancing breath work.

I invite you just to relax and breathe slowly into the belly through the nose,

And listen to the music.

Sit and breathe for a while.

Much love.

My name is Ben Holt.

This has been brought to you by AwakendBREATH.

Namaste.

On the third round when I was holding my breath I thought Iโ€™d pass out because I was out of breath, but I didnโ€™t. Although, ironically, it helped me focus more on my breath, what I did, further. Thank you for this breathwork! Your breath works and meditations are the best! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Also, would you mind telling where I can listen to that music on the background? I love it very much and want to listen it in my daily meditation routine.
