Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Today we're going to use imagery to really allow ourselves to feel supported and at peace.
So I encourage you to adjust your body,
Either sitting or lying down.
And if it feels right,
To gently close your eyes.
If you prefer,
You may lower your gaze.
And then take a deep conscious breath in.
Feeling slowly,
Releasing any tension and feeling more supported by the surface you are on.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Consider to be with your body,
To be in this moment,
Settling into the stillness.
And I'll invite you to begin imagining yourself in a peaceful,
Open field on a warm summer night.
Picture the sky above you,
Filled with countless stars,
Twinkling like precious diamonds.
Feel the gentle touch of a warm breeze on your skin.
Noticing the fragrance of blooming flowers and the sweet scent of grass.
Let yourself be enveloped by the soothing sense of this summer night.
In the distance,
You notice the faint flickering of fireflies.
Their soft glow illuminates the darkness,
Creating a magical dance of light.
Each tiny firefly can be like our thoughts.
Then releasing and watching them in this serene dance,
Drifting off,
Allowing our minds to settle.
Observe anything else in this summer night.
Notice the coolness of the air as it enters your body.
Any other sounds of the summer that support the sense of peace and comfort that comes with the season.
Just as the night progresses,
The stars begin to shift and gradually fade away.
The darkness gives way to gentle,
Subtle light as the horizon starts to brighten.
The first hints of dawn announce the arrival of a new day.
The sky begins to blush with shades of pink,
Orange,
And purple,
Painting a breathtaking canvas.
Witness the beauty of this transformation as the night gracefully transforms into the morning.
Just as nature embraces change,
Allow yourself to embrace the possibilities and new beginnings that each day brings.
See if you can release attachments to the past or worries about the future,
Being fully present in this moment,
Embracing the stillness and the infinite potential of now.
With the rising sun,
Feel its gentle warmth on your face,
Welcoming you into the day.
As the sky brightens,
Notice the world around you waking up.
Birds chirping in the trees,
Leaves rustling,
And the distant sound of waves crashing on the shore.
Allow these sounds to deepen your connection to nature and ground you in the present moment.
See if you can also take a moment to express gratitude for the beauty and abundance that surrounds you,
For all that you've cultivated in this practice.
Allow yourself to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the rhythm of your inhalations and exhalations anchoring you in this present moment,
Perhaps even amplifying the sense of gratitude and peace and abundance.
And as you prepare to return to your day,
Carry this tranquility and serenity.
Remember that you have the power to bring the stillness of this visual,
The summer night,
Into the beauty of a morning sunrise,
Into every moment of your life.
When you are ready,
Gently reopen your eyes,
Allowing the light of the world to enter your space.
Take a moment to stretch and savor the peaceful energy that you have created within yourself.
