Let's begin by settling into a comfortable position.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze,

Letting your breath slow and deepen.

With each inhale,

Invite calm into your body.

With each exhale,

Let go of any tension.

Now,

Allow your mind to wander to your favorite or ideal place,

A place where you feel at ease,

Joyful,

Or inspired.

This might be a place you have visited before or one you create in your imagination.

If it helps,

Imagine inviting your younger self along so they get to be excited about what you are experiencing in this place as well.

As you arrive in this place,

Engage your senses.

Look around you.

What do you see?

Notice the colors,

Shapes,

And textures.

Are there trees,

Water,

Or structures?

Is it bright or softly lit?

Take a moment to savor the visual beauty of this place.

Now,

Listen closely.

What sounds can you hear?

Perhaps it's the rustling of leaves,

The gentle crash of waves,

Or the hum of distant voices.

Let the sounds add depth and dimension to your experience.

What do you feel physically in this space?

Notice the sensation of the ground beneath you,

The air on your skin,

Even the texture of an object you might reach out to touch.

Does it feel warm,

Cool,

Soft?

Breathe deeply and take in the scents around you.

Is there the fresh aroma of flowers,

The salty tang of the sea,

Or the comforting scent of earth after rain?

Let the smells ground you further in this place.

If it feels natural,

Imagine the taste of something you enjoy here.

Perhaps it's a refreshing drink,

A ripe fruit,

Or just the taste of clean,

Fresh air.

Take a moment now to immerse yourself fully in this space.

Let it nourish you and fill you with calm and joy.

Reflect on what this place brings to your life.

You may ask yourself silently,

What sensory experiences here do I cherish most?

How can I bring elements of this into my daily life?

When you are ready,

Gently let the image fade,

Knowing you can return to this place whenever you wish.

Begin to notice the weight of your body in the present moment and the rhythm of your breath.

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying the peace of this place with you.

Thank you for your practice.
