We begin with three sounds of the bell, followed by the gift of the phrases; after each set of phrases, which are spoken in time with our in breath and our out breath, there is a period of silence where we may repeat the phrases to ourselves, or where we may quietly contemplate on the phrases; we end the meditation with one sound of the bell, after which we dedicate the meditation, to both our own wellbeing, and to the whole of our societies wellbeing.
