A new year is always a great reminder that beginnings are filled with hope and that the energy required to support your dreams is always here.

It's always around you.

Welcome to Coached by Nikki Dyer.

We begin this practice here by finding yourself in a cross-legged position,

Centering yourself as you lift your crown toward the moon.

Feel your body beginning to connect and ground itself to your surroundings,

Taking a deep breath in through the nose,

And exhale,

Letting go of everything,

Feeling the way gravity anchors your body here,

While your mind flows freely,

Just like your breath.

Freely in,

And freely out.

Taking another deep breath in here,

Holding at the top,

And release,

Your body beginning to soften as it continues to just be,

Exactly where you already are.

The full moon in Cancer symbolizes what many consider to be the beginning,

The start of a new calendar year.

She is a patient moon.

A patient moon,

Surrounded by resolutions and pursued goals.

But what if this year,

You took a different route?

What if you allowed yourself to begin a new year by simply embracing nature's natural rhythm?

What if you took a moment to slow down,

Instead of speeding up?

To be intentional about observing your surroundings.

To appreciate the tranquility that resides in winter.

The season of winter is leisurely paced,

So perhaps you should be too.

Deliberate stillness that provides space for roots to grow strong.

Establishing a solid foundation for spring.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale slowly.

Feel the serene stillness of the outside world around you.

Nothing in nature rushes through this season,

Only we do.

So with your eyes still gently closed,

I invite you to intentionally pause here,

To take your deepest breath in,

And to let it go.

To reflect on the beauty of being in the present moment.

To simply sit back and embrace the stillness.

A pause is a gift,

A chance to reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

The true natural ebb and flow.

With each breath,

You are reminded that life is a series of moments.

Each precious and unique,

Always unfolding,

Whether you apply expectations and pressure or not.

A new year is always a reminder that beginnings are filled with hope,

And that the energy required to support your dreams is always around you.

Taking one final deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with refreshed energy,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing any lingering tension.

Gently bringing your awareness back into your body.

The gentle rise and fall of your breath.

The steady beat of your heart.

A moment of sanctuary.

Releasing any expectations or pressure you've been putting on yourself that doesn't need to be here right now.

And as you gradually open your eyes,

I hope you carry with you the serenity of this practice,

And the comforting knowledge that you are precisely where you need to be to make all your future dreams come true this year.

Oh how I loved this meditation! Slowly down and beginning thankful for every moment in life! That’s but beautiful. Something I’ve been working on this last year. We truly never know how much time we have left so soak it in. This winter has been unusually cold with - temperature for over a month. But in that cold the sky, the moon have been gorgeous. It’s-27 this morning and I’m going to bundle up and go out an look up, take in these extreme experiences, try to capture some pictures. It’s a big bright moon out there waiting and watching. So peaceful. Happy New Year to you my friend.🌕🙏🏻💕
