Welcome to this full moon meditation.
The full moon is a time to be receptive and become aware of your emotional and physical body.
This moon is a pivotal point that represents the need of letting go of something that no longer serves us.
To recenter and focus.
Rework your boundary set and standards set.
So whatever needs to be released,
Let it go.
And that will allow more love and abundance in.
As we get started,
Center yourself in a comfortable seat.
Sitting nice and tall and start to focus on your breath.
Take a moment to breathe in slowly,
As slow as possible.
Pausing at the top and then slowly releasing to exhale.
Doing this for several breaths to truly connect to who you are in this moment.
Start to feel all of the sensations throughout your body.
What are you noticing?
Do you notice any sensations across your face?
Across your entire body,
Your skin?
Connecting with your body with no judgment.
How do you feel in this very moment?
Noticing your subtle heartbeat,
The clothing on your skin and how that feels draped across your body.
The pulse of your blood through your veins.
Notice everything as you connect here to your breath.
Allowing all thoughts to disappear as you focus solely on your breath.
Using anything that may come up to release as you relax into this space.
Continuing to take several breaths here to truly connect to yourself.
Noticing the space you are in,
Still keeping your eyes closed at this time.
What are you noticing about your surroundings?
Is there light?
Is there dark?
What smells come up in this space from a candle being burned?
Or perhaps the food you just cooked?
Or anything else at all?
Is there a cold breeze or is it warm and cozy?
Allow all of these sensations to arise.
Acknowledge them and then release as you return back to your breath.
How are you feeling in this present moment?
Are you energized?
Tired?
Feeling a deep sense of connection?
Has the energy of the full moon affected you?
Either positively by allowing its energy in or has it drained you?
Acknowledge this feeling and release any thoughts of judgment around it.
As you return your focus back to your breath,
Breathing in slowly as slow as possible.
Pausing and exhaling slowly.
As you continue to breathe,
Start to visualize the bright,
Beautiful,
Glowing full moon.
Allow it to get brighter as you visualize it.
Over your head,
Just above the crown chakra,
Imagine that the full moon becomes brighter and brighter with every inhale until the light starts to touch your head.
As it does,
Allow the light to travel down through your body to disperse its energy through you as the light travels down through your head and into your chest and into your heart space,
Down through the belly,
Into your hips,
And legs,
And now into your feet.
Pausing here for just a moment.
And then allowing the light to travel back up through your body as it returns back to your head.
Allow it to circle back and return down to the feet several times.
Starting to breathe here and just allowing the light of the moon and the energy to travel through your entire body,
Every inch of it.
And as the light reaches the feet one more time,
Allow it to turn around and travel back up through your legs,
Your hips,
Now through your belly,
Up through your heart space and your chest,
Back through the head and out through your crown,
Back into the sky above your head.
Continuing to focus on your breath as you now feel any sensation that may come up for you,
Allowing the moon energy to flood your body.
Have you noticed any changes in your energy or overall sensation throughout?
As you continue to breathe here,
Take a moment to acknowledge these sensations and feelings.
Continuing to focus on your breath,
Allow the light of the moon to grow dim with every exhale.
Allowing the moon to get higher in the sky,
Dimming and returning to its final resting place.
Continuing to breathe,
Remaining calm and still.
And as you breathe here,
Begin to bring awareness back to the space around you,
Noticing any sensations throughout.
Start to bring awareness back to your body as you start to gently wiggle your toes and fingers gently,
Allowing your head to gently move from side to side and gently opening your eyes.
Noticing how you feel now after this meditation and noticing your body at ease as you go on with the rest of your day.
Love you.
