Hello,
Thanks for joining me,
Cholera,
On this guided visualisation where you'll find the hidden sanctuary somewhere in the Himalayas.
Before the visualisation begins,
I'd like to take a few moments for a simple breathing exercise to help with relaxation.
Find your favourite comfortable place.
Whether lying or sitting down,
Make sure your spine is straight.
Close your eyes.
Take one slow,
Deep breath through your nose into your belly.
When your lungs are full of air,
Take a moment.
Pause and slowly exhale.
Exhale all the air out of your lungs,
Taking a second to allow your body to let go and have a moment to relax.
Let's repeat this type of breathing.
Slowly inhale into your belly.
Pause.
Then slowly exhale,
Letting go of all the energies that haven't been helpful for you today.
This calming breathwork is one of the best ways to help relax if you feel any anxiety or stress during your daily life.
Consider taking a few minutes at different points of the day to focus on the way you breathe.
If you practice this simple breathing method,
You can expect better sleep,
Better concentration and it's overall beneficial for your spirit.
Afternoon sunlight filters through the summer monsoon clouds to spotlight distant parts of the dense forest.
Whispers of fog hover nearby above the treetops.
Mountain peaks covered with luminous snow and glaciers rise beyond,
Touching the sky.
Gazing up at them,
Your spirits rise.
As you make your way along the narrow path that winds through the path,
You notice how green and lush the bushes and trees are,
Renewed by the recent rainfall.
The air is rich with the fragrance of flowers and other leafy things unfamiliar to you.
Your journey has been a long one.
However,
You've encountered friendly people along the way who've welcomed you with smiles.
Open arms,
Countless cups of tea and,
When you've needed it,
A warm bed at night.
No one has been a stranger to you in this land.
Often at nightfall,
You've walked outside and watched the stars come out silently,
One by one,
In the infinite,
Cosmic fields.
They shine brighter here because of the altitude of this place,
Far removed from any form of artificial light.
You've passed through knee-deep fields of purple,
Yellow and white wildflowers that have taken your breath away.
Once,
While wandering across Arctic tundra,
You've passed by a herd of stubby yaks,
Covered in curtains of dense fur,
Who regarded you curiously with glossy eyes.
The journey has not only been the discovery of this beautiful landscape but of your soul.
With every footstep,
Your heart and spirit gradually feel lighter.
And now,
As you near your destination,
You feel a powerful shift has taken place within yourself.
The trail traverses gently down along the fold of a mountain into a valley and eventually you find yourself walking beside a crystal clear stream.
After a little while,
The path traverses the stream and you have to balance your body to cross the smooth,
Flat footstones.
On the other side,
You enter the bamboo forest.
The leafy green quietly absorbs all sound and as you walk farther along the straight path,
The air becomes more peaceful and otherworldly.
A green light pours through the leaves from the sun overhead and this green daylight feels warm.
Spills of it dabble through the thick foliage onto the path in front of you.
Behind the heart of the bamboo grove is a clearing where a simple bamboo house with a vaulted thatched roof swirls upwards in the sky.
A wide wooden ramp curves up into the house.
At the top is a platform with a round bed woven out of bamboo stalks into a sort of nest.
Since your feet are tired from the long journey,
You climb onto the bed.
You feel at one with nature,
Intertwined with the forest,
The seclusion and the tranquility.
A slight wind stirs through the bamboo grove,
Bringing torrential monsoon rain with it.
Luckily the thatched roof offers perfect protection from the downpour.
The woven bed is firm but perfectly comfortable.
Using your backpack as a pillow,
You lie down and watch the rain fall in sheets.
The white noise is hypnotic.
You close your eyes and listen to the soothing sound of the rain.
Let the rain nationality function nearly 700 years by each every rural sweet spot,
