Hi,
This is Cindy Wolkweiss.
Thank you for joining me for Riding the Waves of Life's Challenges Meditation.
As you come now into stillness and settle in,
Become aware of the body breathing,
Aware of the breath flowing in and flowing out,
Fully aware of being right here,
Right now.
And feel into the aspiration that is true for you right now.
What is your heart's prayer?
Bring to mind a situation in which you would like to have more freedom.
Perhaps you are experiencing a conflict.
Can you soften just a bit to challenge your own behavior?
What if you didn't frame this as a problem?
When you clarify a problem,
It clearly defines it and maps out the land between the old belief and the new and unknown and transformation can occur.
Perhaps changing the word problem to challenge.
And these challenges very often offer healing that is right to take place now.
So I invite you to feel into your heart.
Put the judgment aside and notice the experience of your heart.
How is it beating?
What shapes,
Colors or textures may be present?
What emotions arise?
Please become aware of what is present.
No need to change what is occurring.
Allow everything to be here just because it is.
Give yourself a bit of time now to explore your heart.
Your amazing heart that pumps blood,
Oxygen and nutrients through your body or for gratitude for this vital organ.
Understanding yourself once again,
How is my heart in this moment?
Return to your heart's prayer.
Without efforting,
Notice what arises in body,
Mind,
Heart and spirit as you inhabit your body while holding your heart's prayer.
Soften and marinate in this prayer for yourself.
Notice what shifts have occurred.
Perhaps you relax some,
Feel a sense of openness or expansiveness,
A sense of possibilities.
Your heart may soften to receive this new way of being.
Say your prayer to yourself out loud and invite it in to enter your whole self.
Return gently to the sensations of the body breathing,
Expansive awareness of all sensations arising and passing through.
When you're ready,
Opening your eyes and going about the rest of your day,
May you treasure yourself.
